00:15Anwar expressed concern over the continued conflict and escalation across the Middle

00:20He reiterated the importance of maintaining the freedom and safety of maritime passage
00:25through the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law.
00:28He said Malaysia urged all parties to return to dialogue and diplomacy to resolve disputes
00:34and de-escalate the situation.
00:36He said Malaysia welcomed the long-standing diplomatic relations between the two nations
00:42and reassured their cooperation on various fronts.
00:45The two leaders met for about 30 minutes before the two-day summit that opened in the afternoon.
00:52Anwar had also held talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir
00:57Putin and Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali.
