00:09could have used some preseason snaps.
00:11And I know that's easy to say in hindsight, but I was saying that even before they played
00:17that game in Seattle, the reality is as well as he played last year as the MVP runner up,
00:24he's still only in his third year in the league and his second year.
00:27And what is an intricate Josh McDaniels offense that asked a lot of the quarterback, any
00:32reps, any steps for him are important and you can't skip them.
00:37And I thought that what you saw offensively, particularly with him, but overall offensively
00:43wasn't part of byproduct of that of trying to swap out these joint practices for some
00:50actual reps in a preseason game.
00:52And look, he didn't play a ton in the preseason last year.
00:54He played 29 snaps and I know it wasn't great out of the gate either last year against
00:59the Raiders, but I think it would have helped particularly with some new pieces, Romeo
01:03Dobbs, AJ Brown.
01:05The Josh McDaniels offense is a precision passing offense and that precision was clearly
01:12missing.
01:12I thought on Wednesday night and it was honestly, it was missing before the fourth quarter.
01:16The fourth quarter was a meltdown, right?
01:19But even before that they were stuck in neutral.
