01:01Tonight, we honor our friend Joe Doering.
01:05Joe was a man of few words, so I could talk about him all night, but I'm going to try
01:10to just tell you quickly in three words why Joe was such an amazing friend.
01:16Number one, loyalty.
01:20If you were Joe Doering's friend, you were Joe Doering's friend for life.
01:26Number two, passion.
01:32Joe sacrificed time away from his home, his friends, and his family to follow his passion, which is professional wrestling.
01:51And I'm proud to be able to say that I shared that passion with my friend Joe.
01:55And third is strength.
01:58Joe was big and he was strong, but his true strength was in his heart.
02:05I got to be his partner in a TNA ring after doctors opened his skull, removed a cancerous brain tumor,
02:14and told him that his career was over.
02:17But Joe said, screw you, I'm coming back bigger, better, and stronger than ever.
02:30Joe proved to me and to all of us that no matter what anyone tells you, if you have true
02:37strength in your heart, you can do whatever you set your mind to.
02:44A few weeks ago, I got to sit with Joe in his hospital bed to say my goodbyes and to
02:54say thank you to my friend.
02:58Tonight, together, we all say thank you, Joe.
03:23Tonight, we dedicate Slammerversary to Joe.
03:27Joe, and with all of our passion, our loyalty, and our strength, we bring it all into the ring for
03:36you guys.
