01:00What was your situation there?
01:02It was, that was like really my first time in the business, you know.
01:07I was really coming up here to help my brother and stuff, you know, fill in little spots here and
01:12there.
01:13And I got that opportunity so I just took advantage of it, you know.
01:16I never performed in front of nobody before until I came up here for Power Pro Wrestling.
01:21And we had a good little run there, you know.
01:24You know, I'm a real wrestler, you know, I love wrestling.
01:28You know, that's just what I always wanted to do.
01:30And, you know, that's just something that I love, you know.
01:34I don't complain about it or nothing, you know.
01:37I don't let nothing stop me from doing what I got to do.
01:39If I go out there performing in front of two people, I do it.
01:43That's just because I love wrestling.
01:45The thing I learned the most about Memphis Championship Wrestling is that I learned to love them.
01:51The guys out here are tremendous.
01:53They're real great guys, you know.
01:55Terry Gordon is a good guy.
01:57He just, he's really down to earth about what he likes to do to everybody.
02:01You know, me as far as helping us out, he did a hell of a job.
02:04I learned to entertain, you know.
02:09Especially, I learned a lot about respecting one another out here.
02:13This is like a family deal here.
02:16And I really liked it, you know.
02:18This is where I'm going to miss a lot of Memphis Championship Wrestling.
02:22What's the thing you're going to miss most about Memphis?
02:25The fans.
02:27All you Memphis fans out there.
02:29Kimo and Ekpo is going to miss all you guys.
02:32And don't forget, MCW is number one.
02:38Ever since me and Ekpo started our careers as a tag,
02:42we've always been able to get a pretty good rise out of the people,
02:47whether them hating us or liking us.
02:49But we seem to have, you know, taken grasp to the fact that the people cheer us on.
02:56I don't know if they like the Aloha shirts or the fact that we're, you know, 360 pounds and 420
03:05pounds.
03:07Whether we're two big guys in there dancing, I have no idea.
03:11All I know is I enjoy every minute of it.
03:13If we can get out there and make a few kids have a better time, then, hey, that's what we're
03:19all about.
03:20Number one, I'm going to miss the group of guys that are Memphis Championship Wrestling.
03:27It's definitely one of the absolute best promotions that I've been around.
03:33And I've been around a lot of them, all the way from big props to the promoter, Terry Golden,
03:44all the way down to you, Jet Set, the ring crew, everybody.
03:50The boys, they're, you know, it's great competition.
03:54Everybody works really hard towards one goal and that's to give the absolute best show that a promotion can give.
04:02I'm going to, there's a, I can't pinpoint one thing that I'm going to miss the most about Memphis
04:07because there's a lot of things that I'm going to miss.
04:10Secondly, I'll miss the barbecue.
04:13You guys got good barbecue.
04:14Who has the best barbecue in there?
04:16Oh, phew.
04:18I can't really pinpoint one there neither, but I'll be safe to say Corky's.
04:24You know, they got some jamming, they got some jamming ribs.
04:29I was actually coming straight from Shawn Michaels School to Memphis.
04:33It was pretty scary for me.
04:36It was scary for the four of us, Dragon Shooter, Lance and myself.
04:41You know, we'd only been wrestling for six months, including three months of training.
04:46So, we don't, we didn't really have much of a feel for the business, you know.
04:50You know, we moved from all over the country, from our homes, you know.
04:53Dragon and I from Washington State, and Shooter from St. Louis, and Lance from Nebraska.
04:58We all moved to San Antonio, and then moving to Memphis, you know.
05:03We were all just, it was just real nerve-wracking, you know.
05:06Just floating around, you know, and didn't really know what the future had in store for us.
05:10My plans now, I guess, are to do whatever I can to get some international experience.
05:16I guess it's worth the talk and lack in that.
05:19And so I'm doing whatever I can, making calls and send out some videos to try to get to Japan
05:24or to England.
05:26And I made some calls for both of those, and my book to wrestle for AAA here in Mexico.
05:32So, I'm doing the best I can just to go overseas or wherever I can, you know, just international experience,
05:39you know.
05:39My family's up in Olympia, Washington, but I can't go back there.
05:44You know, I might go to the Northeast, I might move to Atlanta, I might go to LA.
05:48I don't know, but my goal is to get out of the country.
05:50You can't go back to your home?
05:53You got trouble there?
05:53No, I don't have, I really, it's, the reason I can't go back home is not that I, I don't
05:59have any trouble.
05:59It's just, it's just too easy, you know.
06:03It was real hard for me to get here, and I just feel like, I feel like it could be
06:10a failure, so.
06:13Anything you want to say to the Memphis wrestling fans out there?
06:19Um, the Memphis wrestling fans, we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
06:28And, uh, hopefully someday, um, we all make it, you know, hopefully you'll see us again someday.
06:40All of you.
