Learn how to show values in Excel Treemap chart.

Treemap provides a hierarchical view of your data in a visually easy-to-read manner and makes it easy to spot patterns.

Creating a treemap in Excel and customizing its display is straightforward. To start, select all your data with Ctrl + A, then go to Insert ~ Charts ~ Tree Map to insert the treemap, and resize and reposition it as needed. To show values in the treemap, right-click on the text within the treemap, select Format Data Labels, check the "Value" option, and set the separator to "(New Line)". This method answers common questions like how to show values in an Excel treemap, and provides a clear example for beginners. For more advanced options, like handling multiple levels, coloring based on value, changing order, showing percentages, adding values, and applying conditional formatting or subcategories, similar straightforward steps can be followed to enhance your treemap visualization.
