00:00Hi, Grandy. How you doing? Grandy's going to lead us through some Niner preview questions, if you will.
00:06Oh, yeah, he's got a little game. Okay. Go ahead, Grandy.
00:10It's just 10 props. Dibs feels like maybe I'm stealing from the higher or lower bit, but it's Niner's specific
00:16season numbers.
00:17You're going to tell me you think that these guys are going to go higher or lower or over or
00:21under than they're on their season numbers.
00:24We're playing higher or lower, Dibs.
00:25I feel like Gollum from Lord of the Rings, he stole it from me, precious.
00:34Wow, that was uncomfortable.
00:35You've never seen the movie.
00:37No, and I don't want to now.
00:38You've never seen Lord of the Rings?
00:39No, why would I go see Lord of the Rings?
00:42There's a swamp creature who had the one true ring and what's his face bag and stole it.
00:48He stole it from me.
00:51I think it was Bilbo.
00:52Kind of like Andy Reid stole it from Kyle Shanahan.
00:55I guess.
00:56I mean, you said the one true ring.
00:58Right, but they give the helmet out every year.
00:59This is the one true ring.
01:00Shanahan kind of gave it away.
01:01Yeah, you could say that, sure.
01:02I sadly look too much like Gollum, but go ahead, Grandy.
01:05Anyway, we're going to start with the guy you guys were just talking about, Brock Purdy.
01:10Oh, I love him.
01:11Passing yards.
01:12Wait, I'm sorry.
01:14Passing yards on the season for Brock Purdy.
01:16Will he have more or less than 3,700.5 passing yards?
01:223,700.5?
01:25700.5.
01:26That's right.
01:27Because if, you know, you need the .5 so you can have the full.
01:30We don't want anybody to have a tie.
01:32Yeah, exactly.
01:33I'm going to go over that, Grandy.
01:35I do think that this offense will be more dynamic and less reliant on running the ball
01:40because, huh, Brian and Palo Alto, huh, they can't run it.
01:44I'm going over 3,700.5.
01:47All right, Willard.
01:48Essentially, he played half a season plus last year, nine games, right?
01:52And he was at 2,167 yards.
01:56So run that out.
01:58Obviously, the two previous seasons, he went totally over that number.
02:02I just went on and on about how good his weapons are.
02:05I think he obliterates that number.
02:07Wow.
02:08I got over 4,000 yards for Brock Purdy this year.
02:10You're going to do the alternate line, 4,000 or more yards.
02:13Yeah, Kaoshi trading at 38%, and I'll take yes.
02:17Okay.
02:18All right.
02:18We got a couple of overs for Brock Purdy's passing yards total.
02:21What about his passing touchdowns total?
02:2527.5, more or less than 27.5 touchdowns for Purdy through the air this year.
02:31That one's a strong line.
02:34That's a strong line.
02:35Only once in his career has he gone over 27.5, and it was the Super Bowl year when he
02:40had 31.
02:43Look, I am going to actually, in a hopeful way, take the under.
02:47No.
02:48Here's what I mean by that.
02:49The Niners have got to, with Kyle Shanahan as their coach, they've got to get back to being a more
02:54effective running team.
02:56I think that Kalon Black factors into this, along with Christian McCaffrey.
03:00I want Kyle Shanahan's run game to succeed at a better level.
03:05And so, with what that does in the red zone, I'll say that he gets close to that number, but
03:10I'll tuck it right in at the under at about 25 or 26.
03:12Yeah, I'm going to go over, and I think with the weaponry, and you've got a little bit more of
03:17the big play ability, Demarcus Robinson in a whole season, health permitting, of course, and scribbling, I think, can do
03:24that.
03:24And also now you do have a much more potent weapon in the red zone in Mike Evans.
03:31McCaffrey, of course, is great, but your red zone effect, I think, is strong enough.
03:35I'm going over 27 and a half.
03:38Okay, dibs a couple of overs on Purdy.
03:41Willard only won.
03:41That's an interesting one there.
03:43We're going to move to Christian McCaffrey, and we've got three straight we're going to ask you about Christian McCaffrey,
03:49because as we know, he does everything.
03:50We'll start with the more obvious one for a running back.
03:54Over or under 900.5 rushing yards for Christian McCaffrey this season.
03:59I'm going to go under.
04:01I think that they're going to lighten the load a little bit for McCaffrey,
04:04and he's so effective in the pass game that I think that they're still going to utilize that portion of
04:08it.
04:08So I'm going to put him slightly under 900.5 rushing yards.
04:13900.5 rushing yards?
04:16I'm going over.
04:18This is still 1,000 yards back.
04:21That line suggests to me that y'all think he's getting hurt.
04:26Christian McCaffrey can peel back on the touches,
04:30and he's still going to obliterate 900 yards,
04:33provided that he doesn't suffer an injury that sets him back for about four or five games.
04:38To me, if you're asking if he's going to go over 900 yards,
04:41all you're also asking me is, is he going to play 14 or 15 games?
04:45And I'm going to say yes.
04:48I think Christian McCaffrey is absolutely still 1,000 yards back.
04:53I still think that that is the game plan,
04:55and I am going to, fingers crossed, hope for a healthy season.
04:58Give me the over.
04:59He'll need 450 carries to get 900 yards.
05:02Stop it.
05:04All right.
05:04What about the other half of his game,
05:10which is the receiving yards?
05:13550.5 receiving yards for Christian McCaffrey.
05:16You think it's over or under?
05:19Okay, so last year obviously was an excessive year,
05:26and he went for 924 yards receiving.
05:30He was almost a 1,000-yard receiver.
05:32What did you set the line at?
05:34550.5 receiving yards.
05:36550.5.
05:38All right.
05:38So, look, if I said what I said on the first one,
05:42then I've got to stick to it.
05:44Because, again, I think what you're really asking is,
05:46can Christian play 15 games this year?
05:48If he plays 15 games, he's going to hit the over.
05:50I'm going to vote yes.
05:52So, I'll take the over on that too.
05:54Yeah, I'm going over just because the one thing that he didn't do
05:58that they didn't do last year was the explosives.
06:02And this year, all he needs is one or two really big-time explosive plays
06:07to chew into that chomp-chomp, that big total.
06:10So, I think he gets that this year.
06:12I'm going over.
06:13All right.
06:13Through four dibs, three overs, one under.
06:16Willard, three overs, one under as well.
06:19Let's move on to the third and final Christian McCaffrey-related prop for the season.
06:24McCaffrey rushing touchdowns over under eight and a half.
06:29Okay.
06:29Eight and a half rushing touchdowns is the number.
06:32Touchdowns.
06:33I'm going to go under on that.
06:35I'm going to go under on that.
06:36He had 10 last year, and that was a year where, again, he touched the ball constantly,
06:40and they were amazing in the red zone.
06:42I believe that Kalon Black is going to vulture a few of those.
06:46I also think we've talked so much about all the weaponry.
06:49Mike Evans is a red zone target.
06:51I just think this gets spread out a little bit more this year, and that keeps Christian under.
06:56It's a great line because the vulture factor went healthy three years ago.
07:02He had 14.
07:02Last year, he did it all, and he had 10.
07:05So I'm going to go ahead and go over because this team, I don't see a regression in the red
07:10zone.
07:11Again, it's all health permitting.
07:12So I think he gets nine rushing touchdowns.
07:15I'm going over.
07:16All right.
07:17Over for dibs there on McCaffrey rushing touchdowns.
07:19Let's move on to the pass catchers that you guys have been talking about.
07:23Mike Evans receiving yards over or under 775.5 for Mike Evans.
07:31This is such a tough one because, as we know, Mike Evans has made his name through the years
07:37as being a constant 1,000-yard receiver.
07:41Last year was the first time in his entire career that he did not have 1,000 yards,
07:45and it was because he played in only eight games.
07:49But in those eight games, he only totaled 368.
07:52Give me that line one more time.
07:54700 what?
07:55775.5 receiving yards.
07:58775.5.
08:01I'm going under.
08:03I'm going to go under on Mike Evans because I think that load management at times will make them lean
08:09into a conservative way.
08:11So I'll predict that he'll sit out a handful of games.
08:14And then again, this is going to get spread out a lot.
08:17I think he'll be very, very successful.
08:20But, yeah, I'll take the under on that number.
08:22I'm with you, Hillary Clinton.
08:23It takes a village.
08:24And I think that this year it's going to be about the village.
08:27Not that I'm going to go ahead and assert that he's going to get hurt.
08:32But I do think they're going to spread it around a lot.
08:34And so I see a little bit of a step back for Evans.
08:36All right.
08:37Star tight end coming off of an Achilles.
08:39George Kittle over or under 700.5 receiving yards for Kittle.
08:44That, unfortunately, is an easy under for me because of the fact that he's going to be load managed.
08:49We'll call him the chef because I think that they're going to really pitch count him a lot early in
08:54the year.
08:54So I'm going under on Kittle.
08:55I'm taking the over on that.
08:57I think people don't realize how easy of a number that is for Kittle if he's healthy at all.
09:02So to me, yes, load managed early, ramped up late.
09:06He only played 11 games last year and had 628 yards.
09:10If he can just get to 14 or 15 games this year, I think George Kittle goes over.
09:15All right.
09:15Split decision there on Kittle.
09:16How about the rookie?
09:17And we've got two here for Stribbling.
09:19Dajon Stribbling receiving yards 649.5 over or under for Stribbling.
09:26Well, I already did the bold prediction, kukush 1,000 yards.
09:30So I have to stick to my guns, unlike some on the station, and say he's going over 649.5.
09:35I think that's an easy over.
09:36Look, if I've got Mike Evans under 775, you have to think that Dajon Stribbling is going to go well
09:43over 600 yards.
09:44I think the guy is going to be unbelievable, especially by the second half of the year.
09:49Give me the over on that one.
09:50Okay.
09:50The other Dajon Stribbling-related one is will he lead all rookies in receiving yards?
09:56Yes or no?
09:57Oh, and if you look at certain books, they say he has the second best chances to do so.
10:03Carnell Tate of Tennessee has the best chance.
10:05Wow, that's not even close.
10:06Carnell Tate is in a terrible offense with a quarterback who we don't even know if he can play.
10:10So I'm going to say yes, because if you look at the first-round receivers that went ahead of Stribbling,
10:16one of them's Tate.
10:17He's on a bad team.
10:18The other one's a Makai Lemon with the Philadelphia Eagles.
10:21I don't even know if he's going to get on the field.
10:23They don't love him, at least not yet.
10:25But I'll say yes, Stribbling.
10:28I'm going no just because the field is too tantalizing of a group to go ahead and settle on the
10:34one guy.
10:35So I'm going with no.
10:36I'm taking the field.
10:37All right.
10:37The third highest one is Casey Concepcion, who's also on a bad offense in Cleveland.
10:42All right.
10:42And the last one is taking everything into account.
10:45Niners wins on the season.
10:46Over under nine and a half wins this year.
10:49That's an over.
10:50This is a double-digit win team.
10:53If they win nine games or less, something to me went horribly wrong, either in terms of injury or strategy.
11:03And, boy, I trust the strategy.
11:06And I'm going to think that the injury is good.
11:08Lord, they can't be worse than last year, right?
11:10I know it's a little bit of a tougher schedule.
11:12This is a double-digit win team, if you ask me.
11:14Yeah, I trust the process, too.
11:16And this is actually a calci trade I've already made, which is 10 or more to the yes.
11:21So, oh, thank you, Kukush.
11:23I'm over the nine and a half.
11:26Even if they happen to have a little bit of an Australian hiccup tonight, I still am unbothered by the
11:32nine and a half.
11:33All right, boys.
11:33I have jotted down your answers, and we will check back in in January.
11:37Yeah, we will.
11:38That's very exciting.
11:39What is the winner win?
11:41Bragging rights.
11:42Oh, I was hoping for a coffee mug or something with your face on it.
11:46I know you don't want that.
11:47Well, there's actually one in the cupboard in the kitchen I can get it for you.
11:51Oh, let's just go get that.
11:51Yeah, a coffee cup you could leave here.
11:53That's right.
11:54Somebody took that thing away.
