00:00Out on the campaign trail, how are you balancing, trying to turn out loyal GOP-based voters
00:05and also kind of reach those persuadables that are going to be key come election day?
00:10Look, midterm elections obviously, you know, tend to favor the party out of power because
00:17anger is a great motivator and we've seen the Democratic base is very angry.
00:22But I think, you know, what you're seeing here with this midterm convention
00:27is an effort to really turn out the base on the Republican side, energize folks,
00:33get them to understand what we've actually done during these past two years
00:38and the real results that have been delivered and mobilize them for November.
00:44And so, you know, I continue to make the case to voters all across my district directly,
00:50Democrats, independents, Republicans, about these issues, what I've done to deliver for the district.
00:57And where we need to go moving forward.
01:00And I think it's a combination of obviously persuading the middle,
01:04but also making sure the base comes out to vote.
01:06And you know, you know, maybe equals 3,5m, or 2,4m.
01:07You
