00:00Good evening and welcome to a new episode of your show, What's Happening.
00:05Today is Thursday, September 10th, 2026.
00:10September 10th, 2026 and the 28th of Rabi Al-Owal.
00:14Peace and safety to our people in Morocco.
00:17In the last episode, we covered the earthquake in Algeria.
00:23But unfortunately, Morocco also suffered a natural disaster
00:26that struck one of its regions in the past few hours.
00:30We saw, I don't know, at first glance, I felt that what happened in Morocco
00:34seemed like a mini version of what happened in Nepal.
00:38Of the massive flood that hit Nepal,
00:41or the devastating floods that struck Nepal about 12 days ago.
00:45Believe me, we warned many times that you should get used to this.
00:50And in the coming period, unfortunately, because of the super-el-Nino phenomenon,
00:56we see things we've never seen before.
00:58We will see a dangerous increase in flooding,
01:02a dangerous increase in flash floods,
01:04and a dangerous increase in storms and heavy rain.
01:08So I expect that summer should roughly end on September 21st.
01:13And starting from September 21st,
01:16we end already autumn season.
01:19Unfortunately, we're expected to face an autumn season that might be one of the toughest
01:25we have experienced in centuries, in decades past.
01:29I mean, I imagine this season will be exceptional in terms of the disasters that we strike,
01:35as well as the winter season that follows it.
01:37Why did we talk about this?
01:40Let me take you through it.
02:09In Morocco, which was struck yesterday,
02:11in the area of the Umm Arabia Springs.
02:15And, of course, these massive flash floods came after a thunder that was sudden and powerful,
02:23accompanied by extremely heavy downpours that exceeded all drainage capacity.
02:29Unfortunately, these floods, you'll soon see another clip,
02:35these sudden violent floods completely transformed the features of the area,
02:40or most of the area, we should say the entire region,
02:45causing extensive damage to numerous homes, shops, and nearby commercial facilities,
02:55as flash floods filled the passageways and washed away the soil in a truly terrifying manner.
03:04It even swept stones along with it, which is what caused further damage.
03:10It was just like, all of it felt like a miniature model of a disaster,
03:14that happened in Nepal, in the Nepal region.
03:16I don't know if anyone watching us is from Morocco.
03:19The Kingdom of Morocco, let us know in the comments,
03:23especially from the provinces.
03:24I wonder if they are doing well.
03:27Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
