00:00We went on what we thought was the website using the Wi-Fi from here to the British Airways site
00:07for a telephone number, phoned the number to help. It wasn't the right number, it was a scam.
00:13So they were trying to take money out of our credit card and NatWest spotted it that was coming out
00:18of India and then coming out of America but not legitimate.
00:21And so it wasn't being authorised because it wasn't going through to my wife's phone because it's not working, it's
00:27not working.
00:28And you phoned NatWest and they said get off the phone with him immediately, oh my god.
00:36So they blocked my credit card, cancelled all these things.
00:38So it does happen, everybody talks about open Wi-Fi and I knew this but what was I supposed to
00:43do? My flight, you know?
00:45Our flights cancelled.
00:46Well, obviously it's not been good. As per usual with most airlines, it's the lack of help and information that
00:54I always find a problem.
00:56We were made aware of the cancellation flight this morning. We thankfully stayed in an overnight hotel which is attached
01:03to the terminal.
01:05So we're much more luckier than some because we at least haven't had to hang around an airport for hours.
01:12The flight disruption that caused chaos for hundreds of thousands of passengers has eased with schedules returning to normal.
01:19Technical issues with air traffic control systems have caused more than 2,000 flights arriving or departing the UK to
01:27be cancelled since Tuesday.
01:29Only a handful were cancelled or delayed on Thursday.
01:33British Airways said the fault had forced it to cancel almost 550 of its flights which had impacted more than
01:4085,000 passengers.
01:42The airline said it was incredibly sorry to its customers but that the issue had been entirely out of their
01:50control.
01:51We got here 4-ish, maybe 3-ish and had to wait on the plane for the buses to come
02:03get us because everybody was trying to get on the buses.
02:08So we finally got on the bus and got inside and it was chaos because everybody's flights were cancelled and
02:16by the time you figured out all I'm going to have to stay the night the hotels were all booked.
02:23Well I met a really helpful, I presume she was an air steward, I presume that's what she worked for,
02:31she had a bag and she heard me, I was talking to a guy at security because I was asking
02:35him where's customer service and customer service is on the other side through security which makes no sense because that
02:43means you've got to go through security and then they've got you haven't they, they've trapped you in there.
02:46So thankfully she was just passing and she explained a lot to me and enough to make me think I'm
02:54just going to go home.
