00:27details in terms of any possible casualties of whether any people are injured or trapped in the debris or rescued.
00:32But what we can tell you at the moment is this is an under construction building of which a portion
00:40has collapsed, as you can see on the visuals on your screens in the capital of Gujarat, that is Gandhinagar.
00:45And rescue operations, as you can see on these visuals coming in, are underway. Fire department teams are currently engaged
00:52in rescue operations.
00:53Now, of course, remember, this comes while the collective memories of the nation are still filled with the tragic collapse
00:59of a PG in Delhi, Satya Niketan area here.
01:03And just on the heels of that, we are seeing visuals of another building collapsing in Gujarat's Gandhinagar.
01:10Now, this is, keep in mind, an under construction building. So, hope, we are praying that there were little to
01:17no people stuck under the debris.

02:08See, right now we are at the place where the incident happened at around 9.30 p.m. This was
02:13the construction site where the slab was collapsed around 9.30 p.m.
02:23And the fire department got the call around 9.35 p.m. We can see that the rescue operation is
02:28still going on.
02:29The deputy C.M. has reached to the spot and he is recently taking care of the situation as well.
02:38The officers from the CMO as well have reached to the spot as the incident occurred in the capital city
02:43of the state.
02:45It's a major incident happened here. Almost 12 laborers were rescued by the 108 and the fire brigade team.
02:54Now, still more, five to seven laborers have been stuck as per the primary details. So, still the rescue operation
03:01is going on.
03:01It will take some time by the people. It will take some time still that rescue operation is still going
03:08on.
03:09And police forces are confirmed that more than 12 people have been rescued and they have safely shifted to the
03:15local school of the health.
03:19At the site here, can you quickly recap for a few years, how many people are expected to be trapped
03:24under the debris and how many have been rescued?
03:27See, earlier the information reported that more than 15 laborers were stuck at the college lab.
03:36But, current information provided by the police, I have talked with Kaninagar Range ID.
03:42They informed me that almost 12 laborers have been shifted to the nearby hospital and still some of them are
03:49stuck at the college lab.
03:52But, no one knows the aggregate figure. Everything will be clear after the rescue operation has been done.
