जम्मू के बनतालाब इलाके में पुल गिरने का हादसा और भी दर्दनाक हो गया है। ताज़ा अपडेट के मुताबिक अब तक 3 मजदूरों की मौत की पुष्टि हो चुकी है, जबकि एक को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल लिया गया है। घटना उस समय हुई जब मजदूर पुल के पास क्षतिग्रस्त दीवार की मरम्मत कर रहे थे। अचानक पुल का एक हिस्सा ढह गया और कई लोग मलबे में दब गए।
मौके पर राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रतिक्रिया बल (NDRF), SDRF, सेना और पुलिस की टीमें लगातार रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन चला रही हैं। जेसीबी और भारी मशीनों से मलबा हटाया जा रहा है। प्रशासन ने हादसे की जांच के आदेश दे दिए हैं। शुरुआती आशंका है कि निर्माण कार्य के दौरान कंपन के कारण पुल कमजोर होकर गिरा। फिलहाल लापता मजदूरों की तलाश जारी है।
