There is a quiet kind of suspense in watching something fragile get worked at full heat.

In Green Cove Springs, Florida, Craig heats a large piece of glass until it glows, rotating it as he brings it in and out of the flame. He uses tools to pinch and pull the softened glass, gradually forming a head and narrowing sections into a neck and body.

“A 2020 Budweiser Bottle, Irish edition—a massive bottle—was melted down into a magical dragon glass sculpture. Just heating the glass was a challenge, not to mention holding it while managing the weight and the intense, radiating heat. It turned out great, and hopefully I can create another one someday,” the filmer, Craig, told WooGlobe.

As the shape develops, he refines the details with small adjustments, turning the piece to keep it even before holding up the finished dragon form.

The methodical steps make the transformation feel precise, with each movement leaving a visible mark on the final shape.

It ends as a straightforward look at practiced craft, captured from start to finish.
