00:08The travel plans of the United Sikhs Malaysia volunteers have been disrupted
00:12after they experienced a landslide on their way to Kathmandu
00:15during their humanitarian mission in Nepal.
00:21They had to spend at least one night in a small village near Borle
00:25following the incident on Wednesday.
00:26They had earlier delivered aid to residents in Betrawati
00:30and visited the hometown of their driver in Ramche
00:33whose siblings died in the August 26th glacier collapse and flood.
00:38We are unable to turn back because there's a landslide at the back as well
00:41and there's a landslide in front too
00:44which happened really in front of our eyes.
00:48So thankfully we are safe.
00:50With the grace of Almighty, we are safe.
00:51We had a narrow escape for the landslide.
00:54So now the road is closed.
00:55Maybe it's going to be closed for one or two days.
00:57Depends on how are they going to clear it like.
00:59There's no hotel over here.
01:00There's no gas house over here.
01:02It's a very small town.
01:02Maybe there are about seven or eight houses over here.
01:05So we found this house which is under construction.
01:15No electricity, no water.
01:18But I feel that this can be a very good shelter for tonight.
01:25They have been informed that the local authorities will only clear the debris
01:29and the road cut off by the landslide on Thursday.
01:32United Seeks Malaysia left the country for Nepal on September 4th
01:36to help with relief work.
01:37Since we are stranded,
01:50That's good.
