00:00What you saw yesterday was countries across the world acting.
00:04The international community coming together, France, Canada, a whole range of countries
00:11and the UK responding to the urgency of the situation.
00:14Now I believe that UK sanctions can make a difference and we've sent a very clear message
00:19which is we do not want British companies involved in the financing, the construction
00:24of these illegal settlements.
00:25So we're confident they can make a difference.
00:27This is about doing the right thing for British values, for British interests and indeed
00:32we believe for security for the Israeli and Palestinian people.
00:37Andy signaled very shortly before he became Prime Minister that he wanted a reset of our
00:42approach.
00:42That's what I've been working on over the summer.
00:44That's what we've worked on with a whole range of other countries and that's what you saw
00:49yesterday, a values-based foreign policy doing what I believe the vast majority of the British
00:54people will support.
00:54Thank you very much.
00:55I'll do it now.
