00:15Since then, the game hasn't appeared in any of Ubisoft's gaming presentations over
00:19the years, but brand producer Loic Gounon mentioned it while discussing the development
00:24challenges of the upcoming Rayman Legends Retold.
00:27The early conversation we had was, what's the best way to bring back the Rayman franchise
00:32with the best possible team?
00:33Because we did not have a team anymore, he says.
00:35Many of the people either left the company or went on to another project.
00:39Some of them are still part of the core team on Beyond Good and Evil 2 at the moment.
00:43Frankly, it's a miracle that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still being worked on by the core
00:47team at Ubisoft Montpellier.
00:49Over the years, it has dodged all sorts of guillotines in the form of the series creator
00:53leaving in 2020, and recent mass restructuring at Ubisoft to name a couple.
00:58So, even though Rayman Legends Retold currently holds Ubisoft's spotlight,
01:03it is amazing to hear that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is definitely still waiting in the wings.
