00:10representatives from the Alliance's member countries and partner nations have been meeting
00:14virtually since last Sunday ahead of the summit that will take place from September 12th to the
00:1813th. The meetings will conclude two days before the leaders' summit that will discuss ways to
00:24deepen intra-BRICS cooperation and exchange views on shared global and regional concerns.
00:30Prior to the leaders' meeting, the BRICS Business Forum will take place on Friday, September 11th,
00:34with the participation of business leaders, ministers and heads of states to discuss trade,
00:39investment, finance and technology. In addition, India will also host iBRICS,
00:44an independent sovereign investment forum focused on financial cooperation among the bloc's economies.
00:49The 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi represents a pivotal moment for the grouping that comprises
00:5511 emerging economies and 10 partner nations, accounting for about 40% of global gross domestic
01:02product in purchasing power parity.
