00:00When you think of an all-inclusive, what comes to mind? Is it 300 acres of pristine rolling hills,
00:05incredible farm-to-table dining, hiking trails which turn into a private ski hill in the winter,
00:09an onsen in the forest, or a private pond? At Twin Farms in Vermont, they have truly set the
00:14standard for the term all-inclusive. Let's start with the food and drink, which was one of the many
00:18stars of the show. I started the weekend strong with the best charcuterie plate of my life,
00:22and as someone from Wisconsin, I've eaten a lot of cheese in my day. Every morning,
00:25there's also a freshly baked pastry of the day. One morning, it was this amazing blueberry muffin
00:29which I had alongside the breakfast of my dreams. Then there's the chef's tasting with wine pairings,
00:34craft cocktails, and an immense amount of fresh, incredible seasonal food. There's also so many
00:39activities to take advantage of. We had a picnic at Silver Lake down the road and spent the afternoon
00:43on a private dock. You can also learn archery, go hiking, relax in a private onsen in the forest,
00:48and swim and kayak at the resort's private pond. But one of my favorite things about Twin Farms is
00:52that you don't actually have to do anything. It's just as easy to grab a drink, sit outside,
00:56and take in the gorgeous Vermont scenery. We stayed in the orchard cottage, which had a private porch
01:01and a bathroom that deserves its own moment. Twin Farms constantly makes T&L lists as one of the top
01:05all-inclusives in the U.S., and after spending a weekend here, I can definitely confirm it is the
01:10best of the best.
