😱🚆 The moment a train slammed into a truck at a railway crossing in Gdańsk, Poland, was caught on camera.
According to preliminary reports, the 42-year-old truck driver, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, entered the crossing after the traffic light had turned red. Moments later, the barriers began to come down.
Instead of continuing forward and breaking through the barrier, the driver reportedly tried to reverse and maneuver away from the tracks. Seconds later, the train crashed into the truck.
The driver miraculously survived the collision.
The footage was shared on X by Poland’s Deputy Infrastructure Minister Piotr Malepszak, who described the driver’s actions as “extremely reckless.”
⚠️ A terrifying reminder of how quickly a decision at a railway crossing can become a matter of life or death.
