00:00G'day, I'm Jamin Fleming from AusTech Drones in Bundaberg, Queensland and I'm
00:03blown away to be a finalist in this year's Australian Agriculture Awards in
00:07the Westpac and Innovation of Agricultural category. I grew up on this
00:10farm here and I think that's really what shaped me. We really want to show the
00:14younger generation that the future of agriculture isn't stuck in the past.
00:18There's innovation here, there's opportunity here and there's a massive
00:22future. Over the past decade AusTech Drones has now grown to be one of the
00:25leading agricultural drone providers in the country. Helping farmers really adopt
00:30this technology for their everyday use. When we first started drones were small,
00:34they were a headache. People probably saw them more of a novelty rather than a
00:38serious tool. Fast forward today that could be further from the truth. For us
00:42the biggest achievement isn't inventing this technology, it's adopting this
00:46technology for Australian farmers that they can use every day. Because to be
00:50honest a farmer does not need another headache, they need a solution. And that's
00:54really what we focused on building. Not just supplying them the drone but
00:58providing the support, the training, the parts, just picking up the phone when they
01:02need it. We've seen this technology go from early trials now to being used every
01:07day in serious situations. And to be honest we're just getting started. This
01:11technology is evolving every day from autonomous docking stations to more
01:15autonomy in the field, better drones. It just keeps getting better and better and
01:19that's what excites me a lot. What really excites me is where Australian
01:22agriculture is headed. And I'm just really proud that myself and Oztek drones
01:26get to play a massive role in this. So thank you very much for the nomination and
