00:22When were you cleared after the Brooklyn flag? Was it in camp or was it at OTAs?
00:26It was before OTAs. Yeah, so I've been rolling for quite some time now.
00:30Yeah. Was there any concern when that happened that it could be something that would be long lasting?
00:37I mean, naturally, yeah, but I just took it a day at a time.
00:41They told me they'd get me back in like four or five months, and I was like, all right, let's
00:45do it.
00:45So I attacked it and been feeling really good ever since.
00:48Do you feel like you miss a year or do you just feel like you just pick right back up?
00:52Honestly, I feel like I just pick right back up, especially with OTAs.
00:55It's kind of like a buffer to get you back into things, and yeah, it felt really good coming back

01:41Yeah, yeah, he presented me with a couple of different places, and this just seemed like the best fit, best

01:48Yeah, just everything seemed to line up right where we needed it.
01:52Did you have an opportunity to stay in Indy, and you chose here instead?
01:55Uh, no, I didn't have an opportunity at Indy, yeah.
01:59I mean, it's commutable, but you're not doing that, right?

02:34The early part of your career, like, did you feel like it was going well?
02:39Like, what was your view of those first couple years when you had nine starts?
02:42Yeah, I mean, my rookie year, I felt like I got thrown into the fire a little bit,
02:45which I think was great for me.
02:48Played a lot of great dudes.
02:51Yeah, I've been going to the second year.
02:52It didn't really work out like I wanted it to.
02:55Didn't get the swing tackle spot.
02:57Matthew Gonzalez played really well, and he was able to go in there,
02:59and he was who they needed for the job.
03:03But played in one game, I think, the last game.
03:06And then, yeah, third year, went in, broke my leg, kind of set me back.
03:12But, yeah, I mean, after the first year, I was, like, pretty fired up,
03:16and kind of opportunities dwindled, didn't take advantage enough.
03:20But, yeah, again, excited for a fresh start.

03:24Of the four tackles, four backup tackles on this roster,
03:26you have more experience than the other three combined.
03:29Do you feel like that's something that can give you a leg up to maybe try to win this job?
03:33Yeah, I think so.
03:34I think just tackle is a game of reps.

03:38I think it definitely helps a little bit.
