00:00It was a very, very blunt language. I think it is significant, particularly because Washington
00:05has historically been much more cautious in the public language used about Israeli settler
00:11violence. And he hasn't walked the statement back. He hasn't issued an apology or anything
00:17like that. He's defended it. And he is saying that the behaviour of the settlers is effectively
00:21pouring gas on a fire. It comes at a time of, you know, slightly more awkward tensions between
00:28Israel and the US over the situation in with Gaza. And you've seen more stronger language.
00:35I mean, that's not to say I don't think anything's changing in terms of like the US is like overall
00:39support for Israel, but it is definitely significant. It is definitely like a kind of noteworthy.
00:45It's such a strange one in a way, because the US has been backing settlers claiming that the
00:51West Bank is theirs through US dollars, through Jewish charities, through the US budget to support
00:57the Israeli military. And so it's it's sort of bringing America much, much, much more into
01:02this, this conflict generally.
