A rare retro camper and a custom tiny houseboat steal the spotlight in this Tuckerton, New Jersey Marketplace tour. Patrick explores a 2018 Terry Classic V21, a throwback travel trailer with a huge wrap-around front window, lightweight towable design, and nostalgic stick-and-tin styling inspired by the 1960s.
Inside the Terry Classic, the tour highlights 6'10" of headroom, solid surface countertops, a glowing kitchen backsplash, a 6-cubic-foot fridge, and a rear bathroom with shower. The walkthrough also covers the trailer’s practical specs, storage, awning details, propane setup, and the kind of retro RV layout that makes this rare camper stand out for vintage travel trailer fans.
The second half shifts to a custom 2004 pontoon houseboat listed for sale, with bunk beds on pulley systems, built-in coolers that double as seating, a solar-heated freshwater tank, a compact galley, and a small helm for cruising. It’s a creative liveaboard-style build that blends camper van ideas, tiny house design, and floating home living.

00:00Hello and welcome back to the show. This is Patrick with New Jersey's Outdoor Adventures
00:04and I'm going to take a look at a 2018 Terry Classic. These are pretty unique, rare,
00:11like a throwback travel trailer and this little houseboat over here.
00:16So both of these are on Facebook Marketplace here in Tuckerton, New Jersey. The gentleman
00:23has just an awesome collection of a lot of cool, rare things and he acquired this several years
00:31ago out in Michigan and it's a 2018 Terry Classic. The model is a V21 and one of the big
00:41things with
00:42these Terrys, which is like a throwback retro, is this front window system. Now the originals I think
00:48were glass, but this one is a plexiglass material and the trailer has a dry weight of 4,460 pounds
00:57and a gross vehicle weight rating of 5,600 pounds. Hitch weight's only 780, so you could tow it
01:04with a Ford Ranger or a mid-sized pickup truck or a full-size. Not many SUVs have 780 hitch
01:11weight
01:11capacity. And look how cool the outside looks with that stainless steel top siding. I believe it's a
01:18stick and tin type construction, which would be similar to what they had in the 60s when these
01:24were made. It's 21 feet 11 from the ball to the back bumper and the exterior height is only 10
01:32foot
01:328. That's at the top of the air conditioning. The exterior width is 8 feet wide. You've got a view
01:37of
01:37the width over here. And the interior height, you have 6 foot 10 interior headroom. Freshwater tank's
01:4441 gallons. Grey waist tank has 44 gallons and the black is 27 gallons. Pretty good capacities here.
01:53It's got two 20-pound propane tanks up front, 6-gallon gas electric water heater, 225-75R15 load
02:01range D tires. And it has a 55-amp converter, 30,000 B2 furnace, 13,500 B2 air conditioning,
02:10and it has the Alpha Superflex material on the roof. So if you go up front here, you can see
02:20you've got your full battery system. A little battery box there. Probably a Group 27 series battery.
02:25The two 20-pound propane tanks. You got the electric hitch jack up front. It's got a steel
02:31frame diamond plating here on the front. And then you got your standard 751 key for the compartments.
02:39And these compartments actually have magnets to keep them open. And the current owner added a little
02:46shelf system inside. And you can see all the way through. And the compartment even has a light.
02:53There's the water heater over here. It's got scissor stabilizer jacks, all four corners. And
02:59you have the dump valves for the gray and black tanks over here. 30,000 B2 furnace exhaust. You can
03:07see my
03:07reflection there. See how shiny this thing is. The city water connection. Outside utility shower.
03:13A little light outside. And then you can fill your fresh water tank there. It's a gravity feed.
03:19You got your cable. Satellite. And 30 amp shore power connection. Back here you can slide in your
03:27sore hose. It's got these cool LED rear lights. Spare tire on a bracket. A little bike rack back here.
03:38And then check this out. Open this little back trunk area. And look at it. The owner's manual is actually
03:45on a little flash card here.
03:50Look at that. There's a tool for the stabilizer jack crank. Now it's used just regular wood and
03:57particle board. You know, this is how they're built. But outside is that stick and tin construction.
04:06The awning's got a little bent arm in it. It's like 55 bucks. It's got frameless windows.
04:15A little built-in level there. Outside outlet. A little cool housing. You can bring a tv outside and
04:23plug it in. Double entrance step. You've got your low point drains for winterization.
04:31This is the bent awning arm. The tube looks good. It's got some outside speakers up there too.
04:39We'll open up this compartment.
04:44Just a regular 751 key to get you in. There you go.
04:50There's no rod or anything in here. It's got a little light up front there.
04:55Pretty cool.
04:58You can see how that window just wraps right around.
05:02All right. Now you want to see the inside. Got a grab handle. Double lock. It's RVIA certified.
05:10Now check out the inside. This is what it's all about. Is this front window area.
05:16It's got this ledge up front here. You can store things on.
05:21You got two integrated speakers. This table
05:25folds down and makes into a bed. This is about 48 by seven and a half feet.
05:33Got all the controls here for the water pump, water heater, gas and electric.
05:40Grab handle, awning light. You could monitor
05:43the tank levels from here. Look at all the light switches there.
05:49Really cool. A lot of ceiling height here. Here's that 13,500 B2 air conditioning.
05:55The guy added this extra shelf.
05:59And another shelf here for the toaster oven.
06:02And unfortunately, some of these companies, this was made by Heartland.
06:08They sourced some of this fake leather. You could see over the time, look how thin it is.
06:16It just peels apart.
06:17So whoever gets this probably don't want to reupholster or put covers on it.
06:21Look at that curtain just wraps all the way around that front window.
06:27Six cubic foot gas electric refrigerator.
06:31Automatically switch over.
06:34Made in the USA.
06:36He added this ledge up here. So, you know, if you put things up here, they don't fall off.
06:40It was normally just a regular countertop.
06:44Entertainment system.
06:48Stereo.
06:49Storage.
06:51Storage.
06:52He didn't clean this up yet.
06:56I was driving by and I saw it. It caught my eye.
06:59He said, yeah, it's for sale. It's on Facebook Marketplace.
07:03Regular microwave. Cooktop ventilation.
07:07Two burner gas cooktop.
07:11Storage here.
07:13Drawer.
07:14Another drawer.
07:17Solid surface countertop. But look at this.
07:19Look at that glow.
07:21That's really cool.
07:24More storage there.
07:26Aluminum blind.
07:28Pull out spryer.
07:30Yeah.
07:32It's got a lot going on.
07:34The furnace controls here.
07:36Propane leak detector down on the floor.
07:38Fire extinguisher right over there by the door.
07:41And it's got this curved wall here that leads you into the bedroom area.
07:46Now, when this was new, this had a power lifting bed.
07:49So you'd be able to press this button here and the bed would lift up.
07:55And you could put a TV on this wall because it's prepped with cable and satellite and electrical outlet.
08:01But he modified it.
08:03So this bed just lifts up to get to the storage.
08:07And then you've got a shade over there.
08:08Look at these valances.
08:10In the valance, there's a light.
08:13Some little bars there to hang some clothes.
08:17More storage here.
08:19More here.
08:21Here.
08:23Here.
08:24There and there.
08:27He added this.
08:29Get the battery charger and fuses and breakers over there.
08:33Vanity sink.
08:35More storage down there.
08:39More over there.
08:40Another bar.
08:42CO detector.
08:45These slide down.
08:46See the balance there?
08:50There's an emergency exit window.
08:52It just pops right out.
08:55Going from the back, looking forward.
08:58Got the bathroom here.
08:59He added a latch.
09:01They can latch the door open.
09:03So when you're showering, you've got this whole back area.
09:05So everything's a private area.
09:07Toilet dumps into that black tank.
09:09You've got a little cabinet over there in front of the shower.
09:13A little skylight.
09:14A vent fan.
09:18Crank up the lid there.
09:20Yeah.
09:21Not bad.
09:22Yeah.
09:23I checked it.
09:24I didn't see any soft spots on the floor.
09:28Doesn't smell like mold or mildew or anything in here at all.
09:35But I got this battery was dead.
09:37So I'm powering it off of my truck.
09:39So now that I'm done with the inside, I think I could shut down.
09:43But look at even with all the lights off.
09:46Look how bright it is in here.
09:49So Facebook Marketplace, Tuckerton, New Jersey.
09:54Look at what else he has for sale over here.
09:58This is a little houseboat.
10:01I believe he said it's a 2004.
10:05And he modified this as well.
10:11So this is a little floating dock here.
10:13It's a little floating on the screen.
10:15Whoa.
10:16Whoa.
10:18Blown away.
10:21But it's got that faux copper aluminum siding on it.
10:25We're going to step on it in a moment.
10:27But you can see the bottom of the boat there.
10:33A little pontoon style.
10:34It's got a little ladder to climb out of the water.
10:44It's not a bad setup.
10:45Imagine bringing this down to the Florida Keys.
10:48Do it as a liveaboard.
10:53You know, I forget how long this is.
10:55It looks like the inside living space is 12, 13 feet.
11:01Look how big this window is.
11:02Look at that.
11:06Got an outside shower here.
11:08Not so bad.
11:09Nice grab handle to get on.
11:11Guy decorated it with some cool lights.
11:13And you slide this up.
11:16Whoa.
11:17Nice.
11:18As soon as I get on, there's a big gust of wind.
11:21And we're stuck on the dock.
11:24Let's give it a second here.
11:28I want to rip off the door.
11:31There we go.
11:34All right, we'll come back to that.
11:36Over here.
11:38Got some storage there for the life vests.
11:44A little seating area, of course.
11:49Not complete, unless you have a grill, right?
11:53It's got a...
11:54Here, let me grab this door now.
11:56Oh, you know what it is?
11:57It's when I get to this side.
11:59It tilts.
12:02But he built storage in here.
12:05And it's got two RV jealousy windows on their sides.
12:11So you can see these would open this way.
12:15It's got a cool teak door.
12:21A little bell.
12:27Oh yeah, look at this.
12:30Here, I'll go all the way back here so you can see what it looks like.
12:35It's got all aluminum structure up top.
12:37This is the original portion.
12:41He added these repurposed bunk beds.
12:46So this one's got all stainless steel chains.
12:48You got your fishing pole holders there on the ceiling.
12:56A little wall decorations there.
13:00And this is a plastic corrugated...
13:03It's like a sign board.
13:07It's all like tongue and groove.
13:09Maybe finished up the inside.
13:11So it's lightweight.
13:11It's bright.
13:13Easy to wipe down.
13:15And then there's room to crank out these jealousy windows.
13:20Just like that.
13:23Gets a nice breeze in here.
13:27Windy day today.
13:29And then this bunk bed on this side...
13:32For one, you got shade, right?
13:35Because it could get bright in here.
13:37But this one...
13:39It's like block and pulley here.
13:41So this bed slides down on this track.
13:44And lays about this height.
13:47On both sides.
13:49So you can see it's tied up.
13:52There it is.
13:54And you can sleep someone up here.
13:56And then also...
13:57This bottom area can be converted to another bed.
14:01But look what all it is is two coolers.
14:03So that's where you put your food and your drinks and everything.
14:06In those coolers.
14:07But it also is the base of the seat.
14:10And then this side is just a regular sofa.
14:13So you can lift this bed up.
14:16Just like this.
14:17And it latches in.
14:19And then you have room to chill out on the sofa.
14:23And a little speaker and a light there.
14:27Galley kitchen.
14:28This is all original.
14:31To...
14:31Oh, this is all fiberglass.
14:35And a little ledge there to put all your stuff.
14:41And...
14:45That's probably where another faucet was at one point.
14:47Put your water faucet there.
14:50You got storage in here for the water tanks.
14:52And the battery.
14:55It's got an inverter on board.
14:59Kill switch.
15:01So that trailer out there.
15:03Uh, $14,500.
15:07This thing's $20,000.
15:10And then he added an addition to the back here.
15:14See it's nice and bright.
15:16Now it hasn't been cleaned yet.
15:17But get your shower down here.
15:22Nice.
15:25Some storage on this side.
15:30And then the bathroom is over here.
15:33You got the toilet.
15:36Got a little window in here.
15:39And then back here is some storage.
15:43They're just like regular RV doors.
15:47But really, really cool, huh?
15:51Now, through this sliding door.
15:55Go out here.
15:58Got the fuel tank.
16:03125 Mercury.
16:08Of course, uh, mail box.
16:12Got a ladder to flip down.
16:14And then it's got this full flight of stairs.
16:17Made out of fiberglass.
16:21Solar panel up top.
16:25The helm.
16:28You can just sit there.
16:31Cruise around.
16:32Move to a different location.
16:36All the gauges.
16:41Throttles over here.
16:43And then this whole thing.
16:45It's got the hooks like a jeep hood.
16:48Flips down.
16:49So you could flip it down to service it or get out of your way.
16:53This tank here.
16:54This, uh, freshwater tank.
17:00This is heated by the sun, so you always have warm water.
17:03You could take up to six showers there.
17:06Got some storage here.
17:11Looking down at the rear deck area.
17:16And it's pretty sturdy.
17:18I mean, it's not like spongy roof material.
17:23But he's got a lot of cool stuff back.
17:25Back there, there's a 71 Volkswagen pickup truck with a gooseneck trailer ball on it.
17:33I don't know if you guys want to stick around.
17:35Take a look at that.
17:37I almost fell off of this before.
17:39Just as the boat was rocking.
17:45There we go.
17:48Yeah, this will clean up nice.
17:55Yeah, for 20 grand.
17:58Get a little houseboat.
18:00Bring it right down to the keys.
18:12The problem is I gotta, like, move the boat over.
18:17Get the door over.
18:19There we go.
18:20We got it.
18:24Windy, windy day.
18:27Oh, yeah.
18:34Not bad.
18:3514,500 bucks.
18:39Let me disconnect it from my truck so my engine battery doesn't die.
18:49All right.
18:52Now, if you guys have time, we'll take a look at the little Volkswagen back here.
18:56And he's got another houseboat there.
19:00But right now, he's using it for storage.
19:02But I think that's going to be for sale soon.
19:10Take a look at this.
19:12It's a cool area.
19:13A lot of cool old buildings here.
19:19There you go.
19:22Look at this.
19:24It's got a gooseneck hitch on the back.
19:27And he has an aluminum trailer.
19:31That he tows with it.
19:46I don't know much about old Volkswagen.
19:48I even owned one.
19:49I had a 76.
19:51But that was 30 years ago.
19:57Mine was semi-automatic.
20:00Look at this.
20:01You could start it up from out there.
20:04You could wind it up.
20:05Really cool.
20:06Here's the little pontoon houseboat.
20:12Oh, yeah.
20:15Well, thanks for joining me for this spontaneous video here today.
20:20This is Patrick with New Jersey's Outdoor Adventures YouTube channel.
20:23See you next time.
20:24Just for today's video.
20:24do you think that's pretty awesome?
20:24I don't know what happened.
20:24I don't know what happened.
20:24But isn't it?
