00:00Welcome back my friends. Monday, new week, new strikes in Russia. We look at today 30th of

00:06August and 31st of August and there's plenty of strikes including one of the largest oil

00:11refineries in all of Russia and it's very close to Estonia. 20 million tons of crude oil refined

00:19per year and actually some of the drones sometimes when striking this refinery do fly into Estonia

00:26by accidents or by works of Russian electronic warfare but we'll get to it. We'll begin with 30th

00:32of August strikes on Belgorod very close to the front line or to the you know Ukrainian border city

00:39and here Ukrainians struck two targets Belgorod thermal and electrical power plant. It's a combined

00:47plant which produce electricity but the excess heat will also be sent to the heating grid. Also you

00:55can hear the sirens and I'm really glad the Russians hear them too because it for four years three and

01:02a half it was mostly Ukrainians that heard this noise every night. I heard it plenty enough in Kiev

01:09when now it is Russia. By the way you know what's the most amazing part of this news is that

01:15this

01:15power plant combined power plant in Belgorod was struck with HIMARS. Belgorod is close enough for HIMARS

01:22missiles to reach it and boom there was the hit. HIMARS cannot reach much deeper into Russia so Belgorod

01:29gets the blunt of it. Beautiful. Another target as I mentioned was Ozone warehouse in Belgorod. Well

01:39not a warehouse more like a sorting station shipping station however you want to call this this facility

01:46right here. It's not one of the new ones. We're used to seeing wild berries and Ozone warehouses as

01:52these new massive squares warehouses built out of metal sheeting pretty much but no this is one of the

02:00soviet buildings fitted into a sorting station sorting house sorting center for Ozone. Well the old looks of

02:08this building don't save it. It was struck. Employees were evacuated and preliminary reports indicate

02:14injuries. The company has suspended deliveries. Customer orders and sellers intake across Belgorod

02:21region until it can rebuild its logistics routes. Which will not happen because as soon as they try

02:27Ukraine will hit them again. Well they will hit them again even before they can try. Ukrainians as I

02:32mentioned are dismantling any kind of big logistical capabilities in Russia. Two of the largest companies

02:39Wildberries and Ozone. I'm sure when they will be done with those they will take on smaller companies.

02:4530th of August continues as do the bad news for Russia. We go to the southern Russia the coast of

02:52the

02:52Black Sea. One of the Kurort. Kurort is in Estonian. How is it? Like a tourist destination for inside

02:59tourism in Russia. People from all over Russia go to the coast of the Black Sea inside Russia to vacate

03:06there in the summer. Not this summer because 30th of August massive wildfires began in Anapa. Anapa being

03:14one of the cities in the Black Sea coast. It's a very dry place and the city has quite a

03:20lot of greenery in

03:21it and when it's a hot summer the greenery turns more brownish. It's very dry and if something ignites

03:27it will take a flame. Everything will take a flame and this year specifically it's super bad because

03:34the greenery around the city is burning but also inside the city in the urbanized areas where people

03:40have their cars, their houses. It's all on fire and it's really bad. It has been going on now for

03:47two days already. Here you can see the seaside. It's quite beautiful to walk there. It's a pretty area

03:53but it's burning. So imagine you came from like Murmansk or somewhere. A very cold place in northern

04:00Russia to vacate here to be like inside tourist inside Russia to enjoy the summer and the whole

04:06damn city will burn. It's bad. You go to the beach. This is what you breathe in. The fumes.

04:15So no Ukrainian drones. This is not the doing of Ukraine. This is just a wildfire accident as it

04:22does happen in Europe also. But in Russia what makes it worse is that a lot of the firefighters

04:27have joined the special military operations and it pays so much better. So when any kind of these big

04:35fires happen putting them out is very difficult since fire stations are undermanned, severely undermanned.

04:42And this is the case. For two days it has been going on. It's going on right now as you

04:47watch this video

04:48and it might become into something insanely worse than it is now. People are trying to drive their

04:55cars away from the fires. They might lose their homes. The highway is blocked off. Who knows what

05:02this might lead into. They're not going to put these fires out I'm pretty sure. They're just going to burn

05:07out. But they will take up a lot of houses with them. Just a nighttime look for you. It looks

05:12quite apocalyptic. And these are all these huge hotels. I mean a massive proportion of Anapa and Sochi

05:18and all of these cities population are tourists from other places of Russia. And this is what they see.

05:25It's really bad for business. 30th August still continues as do bad news for Russia. Ukrainian drones

05:32in addition to hitting, well they didn't hit Belgorod because that was the high Mars. But in this case

05:38drones, Ukrainian drones on 30th of August hit three different airfields. One in Crimea, one in

05:45southern Russia on the Blacks on the Oz of Sea coast, Yeisk, and one in Milerovo. Here is a satellite

05:52imagery from Yeisk showing the burning marks on the field next to the airfield, meaning they did hit

05:59and the field took fire. But of course the targets were on the airfields. These are the NASA

06:05firms map showing the Yask airfield of where the fires were located. So we don't know exactly what

06:10was it. But in these airfields, Russia always keeps something very important. Locals too claim

06:16secondary explosions. And whenever you see secondary explosions or more like hear them, there will be

06:21ammunition. It's always ammunition. And this fire was going on for hours and hours, as did the secondary

06:27explosions. That gives you a scope of the destruction. Ammunition burns fast. When it goes on

06:34for hours and explodes again, that's quite a lot of ammunition. Unfortunately, I only have one video

06:40out of these three airfields hits and it's from Yeisk. You can see it is airfields right here.

06:49And the fire is quite rare. And the explosions very much like fuel and ammunition, very violent.

08:53And the bad news for Russia are not over. Now I'm talking about the one of the largest oil refineries

09:00in all of Russia. Not the largest, but I think top three. It refines 20 million tons of crude oil

09:06per

09:06year. It's very close to Estonia in Leningrad region, as you can see. And Ukraine has been striking this

09:13refinery. This is the third time already. So three times these drones have flown next to Belarus,

09:19next to Latvia, next to Estonia, into this Kerishi oil refinery. And also two of the times, previous

09:26times, Russian electronic warfare jammed the drones. Some of the drones got lost in Latvia, some of them

09:33got lost in Estonia, and some actually even in Finland. Ukrainians have officially apologized about

09:38this, which is really, really nice from them. Not necessary, though. They're doing the right thing.

09:43Before we go to the footage, I just want to show you on Google Maps this oil refinery. Close to

09:49St.

09:50Petersburg, second largest city in Russia. But let's zoom into this Kerishi oil refinery. This is

09:56Kerishi, the town, which gives the name to the oil refinery. Let's see how big is the town. This is

10:02the town

10:02right here. Now, let's see how big is the oil refinery. This small part here is also. The oil

10:08refinery is bigger. You could almost not call it an oil refinery. This is a whole town. It's an oil

10:14town itself. Look how massive this is. It's hard to imagine the size, the vast size of these refineries,

10:22unless you zoom in or perhaps look at some videos of cars driving through it, through these streets of the

10:29oil refinery takes them time and time. I mean, there's traffic inside this. There are streets.

10:35There are street rules. It's just a factory. It's like a massive, massive area. So it makes sense.

10:41Ukraine had to strike it three times. There will be many more strikes, I think. This is not the kind

10:46of refinery to take out with a few strikes. And as promised, some footage for you of the refining units,

10:54distillation towers burning with bright flames. Beautiful footage. I'm glad it's filmed that night

11:00where we can see the flames in detail. But of course, the flames are big enough to be distinguished

11:05during the day also. And here's a footage of a fuel line. Well, look at some footage of fuel lines

11:12in the

11:12coming moments also. Again, NASA firms maps comes to help us to show exactly where the fires were burning.

11:19I don't know what's in these woods, probably just a drone that hits and the forest took fire. But here,

11:25it's one of the cracking units, one of the distillation towers, the heart and mind of the refinery.

11:31This refinery has quite many of them, over five, I think. But the point is, you take that out, Russians

11:37cannot build that.

11:38They're not producing any of these units. They are importing them from China. But the queue is quite long.

11:44We're talking months to years. European Union has sanctioned these kind of products into Russia,

11:51so they can only get them from China, which lets the Russians wait quite a long time. So whatever

11:57the Ukrainians destroy in these refineries will not be replaced. I'm guessing months to years.

12:03This is the next morning. A local Russian man comments beautifully in his native language.

12:09What happened during the night? That one's effed. And they hit the shit over there again.

12:17I'm telling you. Everything's been rumbling since 3.30 am. Everything flying. I cannot translate this as

12:24too dirty. Disaster in short. I hope I don't get wiped out here myself. Air defense unit is sitting

12:31there. Turn facing some other direction. So he films the smoke column and right next to the

12:38refinery area, there is an air defense system. It wasn't enough. They are always overwhelmed since

12:43Ukrainians are sending to such targets hundreds of drones at once. Yeah, it's not about 10, 20, 30.

13:30Up there you can see the 2022 massive convoy to Kiev from Belarus to Kiev. It was like

13:3720, 30,000 troops parked right in front of each other, bumper to bumper, out of fuel, out of food,

13:44waiting to go to Kiev. It was a horrible way for Russians to invade. It was kind of a failure,

13:51this convoy. Ukraine could not destroy enough of it. Their Bayraktars did what they could.

13:56In 2026, we see the same convoys bumper to bumper, kilometers of it, thousands of cars,

14:02but now they're waiting for fuel. Much like these soldiers in 2022, they ran out of fuel. It was cold.

14:07So it was a massive problem. In both ways it is. Only in 2026, these convoys of cars, it's summer.

14:15When it's winter, can you imagine how much worse it's going to be? They run out of fuel in these

14:20fuel lines. They cannot get warm since they cannot start their cars. And the situation is quite similar

14:26as it was in 2022 in this nuclear convoy here. History repeats itself for Russia quite frequently.

14:32They stood in line in the Soviet times. They stood in line to invade Kiev, which they failed. Now they're

14:39standing in line in their own country to get some fuel. And now finally, my friends, 31st of August

14:46breaks. It's the new day, new opportunities for destruction in Russia. And destruction

14:52will happen. We go to Yekaterinburg, which is 1700 kilometers from Ukraine, really far away. You tend to

15:01forget, if you say these numbers, you see these thousands of kilometers, tend to kind of forget

15:05what it means, how vast of a distance that actually is to fly over enemy territory. Well,

15:11these drones did it. This is Yekaterinburg civilians just filming Ukrainian drones making low circles

15:18around their city. And these drones, you can hear them, you can see them. They are very slow. Honest answer

15:24is that they are very easy to shoot down. They're not invisible. They're not stealth. They're not

15:30fast. They're very easy to shoot down. There are two issues with this. Number one, Ukrainians are

15:36sending hundreds, so they will overwhelm Russian air defense. Number two, Russian air defense never

15:41was extremely good at this. They are shooting down some, but they do miss quite a lot. They do reload.

15:47They lack missiles in some positions. They're not enough systems. So yeah, you can see how the drones

15:53make it through. And what did they hit? Well, it's a surprise. This specific target. Now it's the third

16:00time Ukrainians are striking it, much like the Kirish oil refinery. Third time, because two of the times

16:06have failed, by the way. This is Yekaterinburg Wildberries facility. I remember covering the first

16:12time Ukrainians struck it. The drones were shot down. Electronic warfare jammed the drones and they

16:17hit the parking lot near the Wildberries warehouse, setting about 10-15 cars on fire. Well, the situation

16:25happens again. Again, these drones do not reach this warehouse, but hit the parking lot. The drone hit

16:31the parking lot. So what's the, what are the odds that so many times Ukraine tries to strike this facility,

16:38all the other facilities are burning. But this specific one, the electronic warfare is quite

16:43good. Jams the drone off target and they hit the parking lots for the third damn time. So yeah,

16:49as far, I haven't seen this warehouse burning in flames. So the news is that Ukrainian drones for the

16:57third time have not destroyed it. For some reason, in Yekaterinburg, it's so far away. Perhaps

17:03their defense or electronic warfare is better. The crews are perhaps better trained or fewer

17:08drones reach it since it's so far away. This warehouse has been spared. Once again,

17:12it's one of the very few big ones of Wildberries that still lives and works not for long. Ukrainians
