00:07He's from Camry, North Carolina, weighing 236 pounds.
00:11He is the ECW Champion, Matt Hardy.
00:18You know, Taz, let me refer back to Tuesday night on SyFy's ECW.
00:22But look on Matt Hardy's face at the display of power from Mark Henry,
00:27the number one contender for the ECW title.
00:31Matt Hardy knows he could have a long night this Sunday at No Mercy.
00:35Oh, no doubt about that.
00:37I'll tell you what, in my opinion, I think Matt Hardy's ready for it.
00:39I think he's gonna be ready for the world's strongest man come Sunday at No Mercy.
00:43This champion of champions match, all about momentum.
00:50And pride.
00:53And passion.
00:54You're gonna pride.
01:02From British, Connecticut, Queen 255 Pound Team is the WWE Champion.
01:10Champion.
01:15The 12 time WWE Champion is no doubt WWE Hall of Fame man.
01:21And just like the OU Senators are in college football number one,
01:26this man is number one, in my eyes, in the WWE.
01:31He is a staple for some 49th SmackDown.
01:35From where I sit, Triple H is the measuring stick amongst all three brands in this great company.
01:42That's my opinion, I'm sticking to it.
01:45The game has a seek and destroy attitude that is unparalleled in the WWE.
01:51Years ago, we coined the moniker, the Cerebral Assassin, for good reason.
01:58A thinking man's wrestler is Triple H.
02:01He studies the greats.
02:03He has adapted his style.
02:06The way it is so sound, so effective, it's a 12 time WWE Champion.
02:16And what a main event this should be here tonight.
02:31We are in Titletown, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
02:34We're three titles represented in one match.
02:39Come on, you know I got you.
02:43Yeah, one, bring the wall.
02:47We're going to hold it.
02:48Weighting 226 pounds, he is the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho.
02:57Jericho literally sauntering to the ring as he locks eyes with the Triple H and Matt Hardy.
03:08Chris Jericho is the World's Heavyweight Champion.
03:11Here's a man that on one night beat both Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.
03:18That's amazing.
03:19There's no doubt about that.
03:20You cannot dispute the ability and the accolades and the accomplishments of the world.
03:26Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho.
03:29You can bet, ladies and gentlemen, that the great Shawn Michaels, HBK himself,
03:34is watching this match tonight and thinking about Sunday in the ladder match when he faces
03:39Chris Jericho for the World's Heavyweight title.
03:43I'll tell you what, look, it's well documented the relationship and the friendship
03:47between the game Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
03:50Hey, who knows?
03:51Maybe Triple H, you know, Michaels got on the phone and Michael said,
03:54you know what?
03:55Hey, Gain, break them down for me.
03:57Help me out on Sunday.
03:58You never know.
03:58Well, what about this?
03:59What about Jeff Hardy?
04:00He's gonna make Triple H and Jeff Hardy's Matt Hardy's brother.
04:04That's a great point.
04:05There's a lot of interesting subplots in this matchup.
04:08It's the first man to score a 10 or submission wins it.
04:12And I think that the game and Jericho, not including Matt Hardy in a whole conversation.
04:21And that didn't pay off for Jericho.
04:26I think Jericho may have gotten all he wanted from the game this past Monday on a row.
04:31Absolutely.
04:32And JR, we gotta point out, this match, he's every man for himself.
04:34But at the current moment, it seemed like Matt Hardy and Triple H working together.
04:41Nice reflex by Matt Hardy, the ECW champion, and the WWE champion.
04:47The game.
04:48Looks like Matt Hardy set up Jericho to get driven by the game and vice versa.
04:54The game with Matt Hardy.
04:56And a smack of the steel on the platform right there of EDT.
05:01Jericho may be hurt.
05:03Hardy just got drilled, and the game is the last man standing for the moment.
05:07That's what I'm saying, JR, every man for himself.
05:09The cerebral assassin attacks again.
05:14The game, loading up Jericho, short rise, rough landing on my plane trip in here.
05:21There we go, there's a cover.
05:24Well, that was a very unique, delayed high vertical suplex that Triple H put on Jericho,
05:31that's for sure.
05:32Big right hand, that right hand take, for good reason the game likes to use it.
05:36Settling learning, perhaps, and Jericho with the advantage now.
05:39The world's heavyweight champion, Chris Jericho, who won the championship in the
05:43unlikeness of ways, being put into the last moment in the championship scramble.
05:50And since then, I mean, I gotta tell you, I've known Chris Jericho for over ten years.
05:53And just this man has been a different type of guy in the past few months.
05:57Just something clicked in Jericho's head.
06:00Nice clip in his jaw.
06:01High hearted right knee.
06:03And Matt Hardy getting in the face of the WWE Champion, the ECW Champion.
06:09It's Matt Hardy fighting for some respect.
06:12Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
06:14The Grief.
06:17Matt Hardy showing great aggression.
06:21And maybe because of all the accolades the game has earned and Jericho has earned,
06:26maybe Matt Hardy, who hasn't been ECW Champion long, right, is looking to notch as good.
06:32And look at this.
06:33There's some jealousy for sure, but Jericho's springboard dropkick,
06:37taking out two men with one shot.
06:39And right now, Jericho's in control.
06:45Our pandemic continues here on Friday Night SmackDown.
06:49What a match.
06:52Hardy looking to win this huge Champion of Champions Triple Threat match.
06:58Look at the game, Triple H got rid of Matt Hardy and didn't even touch him.
07:03But Jericho seizing the moment, the vulnerable position that the game was in.
07:09I mean, indirectly, I think Triple H kind of saved Jericho because Matt Hardy
07:13was going for a twist of fate.
07:15Now, here comes the intensity of the World Heavyweight Champion.
07:18Nothing fancy about this offense from the aggressive Chris Jericho.
07:23A prideful World Heavyweight Champion, to say the least.
07:27Well, I think all three of these athletes, they are, they're all extremely proud.
07:31One of their pride.
07:32They're all champions of their individual brands.
07:37All three of these men are living their dream as being WWE superstars.
07:42That I admire in each man.
07:44And look at this, Double-A Spinebuster.
07:47Impactful.
07:49Buddy.
07:51That is some strong stuff right there by the WWE champ.
07:56You don't want to let the game build momentum, Jericho.
07:58Looking for Pedigree here.
08:00Look at Hardy, look at Matt Hardy.
08:02And Jericho counters.
08:04Look at Hardy up there.
08:05And the game catapulted.
08:08You see how hard he landed.
08:09He's going to steal it.
08:10He's got him, he's got him, he's got him, he's got him.
08:11He's got him, he's got him, he's got him, he's got him.
08:12And Charles Robinson found a two count.
08:15Like Chris Jericho's demeanor or the type of person he is or not, it don't matter.
08:20Very impressive trying to steal a victory on Triple H right there.
08:23Jericho, yes, can be very arrogant.
08:26Maybe he has grounds too.
08:28But what he did inadvertently to Shawn Michaels' fight several weeks ago was absolutely abhorrent.
08:36Richard, no doubt about that.
08:38But right now Jericho bad intentions on his mind for the ECW champion right about now.
08:44Is Jericho taking too much time tags?
08:46I think he might be definitely that hard as a cagey veteran.
08:51He might be thinking of a county here of sorts.
08:53And the game, his presence coming back into play.
08:57Look at this.
08:57Look at this.
08:58A triple stack.
09:01Superplex.
09:03The game, getting the leverage and then getting underneath Jericho.
09:09Champions laying everywhere.
09:11One, two.
09:13The WWE Champion, ECW Champion, the World Heavyweight Champion, all down.
09:22Which man's gonna get to a vertical base here and get the advantage first?
09:26The arm over.
09:27Go.
09:28That's a pill.
09:30Look at this.
09:31Powerbomb into like a superplex.
09:34Holy cow.
09:37Hardy's body folded up like the accordion.
09:40Triple H hurting.
09:42Jericho in pain.
09:43These men paying the price.
09:4548 hours before three of the biggest matches of their career at No Mercy.
09:54Sleeper.
09:54Brought smart, smart, smart, smart, smart by the WWE Champion, Triple H.
09:58Trying to weaken Chris Jericho here with a submission hold.
10:02And, oh, look at that counter, look at this.
10:04Nice counter to the back seat, that's by the World Champion.
10:08The game landed hard on his upper body, his shoulders and neck.
10:12And also some of, I noticed when Triple H got dripped into the steps, throwing a break.
10:15Some of Triple H's ribs.
10:17Look, I think the steel steps.
10:20Jericho, uh-oh, man, jammed his knee there.
10:24Attempting that lion saw.
10:26The lion saw for sure.
10:27Now, man, the game noticed it.
10:30Triple H's like a mini figure four, I'm not sure.
10:34Well, Hardy paid the price there.
10:36Uh-oh.
10:37Walls of Jericho.
10:39Gotta be careful, Gabe.
10:40Man.
10:42Jericho's got the submission.
10:44Walls of Jericho on Triple H.
10:46Come on, get out of this.
10:48Come on, Triple H, fight out, get to the ropes.
10:50Remember, this match is by Pym Farmer's submission.
10:55Hang on, Triple H.
10:58Referee Charles Robinson.
11:01They're out of checkers here, the game taps, or says I quit.
11:04And look at the intensity, the power, the will to compete.
11:09Talk about desire to complete a match, finish this match and be victorious.
11:15It's so close to play, just loose a little more.
11:18Does the game have enough left to break this hole?
11:21And look at this, the heart of a champion.
11:23Beats strong in the game with Jericho.
11:27Pulls, Triple H's back to the center of the ring.
11:30This might be in here.
11:31Uh-oh, Matt Hardy.
11:35Jericho uses peripheral vision to see Matt Hardy, the counter inside cradle.
11:41Hardy, did you get him?
11:43No, Hardy with the inside cradle.
11:45Impressive counter by ECW champ, Matt Hardy.
11:50Watch out.
11:51A hearty, man.
11:52Matt Hardy out and maneuvering, the world's champion there.
11:55A great maneuver by the ECW champion.
11:59Boom, boom.
11:59What a great match we got going on here, baby.
12:02What a main event.
12:03Cover, Hardy's back.
12:04Another near-paw.
12:06Ho, ho, ho.
12:06Second bond in the last minute or so that Matt Hardy has earned.
12:13Hardy counters again.
12:15Down that cold break and he's got it, he's got it.
12:18A jackknife pin cover.
12:20With no avail, Jericho kicks out.
12:22Third near fall by Matt Hardy.
12:24Hardy with momentum.
12:26Side effect.
12:27Whoa.
12:29Man hits the side of the back, but the game hits the pedigree.
12:36Harding side of the back, followed by the pedigree in the game, get it.
12:40And the game, the WWE champion wins.
12:43Yeah, baby.
12:50And that was an awesome match for sure.
12:53Kudos to all three champions and congratulations to the game, Triple H.
13:04Kudos to all three champions and congratulations to the game.
