00:00yes no let's hear the questions okay uh who should i target late second round early third
00:05round running back wise who who do you think should should be taken that people are talking
00:10about it's such a shuffle now because i i was high on like david montgomery in the second round
00:15but now we're seeing like hey he might be splitting with this new guy they got coming in so
00:19it seems like it changes weekly and got new injuries coming out genti now is injured right
00:23so like who's this this is i think it's washington or something like that so then now he's getting
00:27more stock because now hey maybe they split him or genti's got a slow start so i hope you're not
00:32drafting or happy i hope you haven't drafted right because i can't tell you i'm not definitive i know
00:37like i like david montgomery i like new guys and i know the guys in new places with new contracts
00:43there's an energy there's an energy that comes with a player from a player's perspective okay being on
00:48a new team because i have that new fresh feeling of like okay i gotta go prove myself to this
00:52team
00:52that i'm legit and you paid me a lot of money so there's gonna be stock in you that you
00:56have to go
00:56and do that job so i like that that's a david montgomery type situation um so i like him there
01:01but be patient because i want to see what happens in the last preseason game um and see what happens
01:07in this last week for things to settle down and see and i mean i'm listening to the coach talk
01:11i think
01:12it's important i think you know out with the chargers too like i'm thinking of marion hampton i want
01:16he's my candidate to have the most rushing touchdowns this year okay we saw mcdaniels do with
01:21raheem moster at 31 years old yep um right running the ball down in the red zone right they want
01:26to
01:26the easiest way to score touchdowns is running the ball you don't have to you know worry about
01:29you know throwing it all the back of the end zone picks anything like that like that so i think
01:32josh mcdaniel is gonna do that with him uh or josh no what's the name mike mike mcdaniels yes
01:37yeah mike mcdaniel yeah mike mcdaniel so um i'll leave it at that i'll leave it at that
01:43they're asking for sleepers where who is your don't ask me for sleepers no sleepers look
01:48i'm building stuff i have not put you guys have put more time in fantasy than i have i hope
01:53so
01:53i'm just saying that would be my question to you it's like how the hell do you have time
01:58ask me about philosophy ask me about philosophies don't ask me about all right direct hey all right
02:03here's one what do you make of teams that had an established rb2 but drafted a running back in
02:08their early draft think seattle with zach and their new running back that is that's the type of question
02:13i need i need philosophy questions so this is what happened here's here's an example with me and the
02:17chargers so for three years they drafted guys because they told me austin you're going to split
02:22carries my whole contract was negotiated on you're going to split carries like you did with melvin
02:27gordon not one time did they bring in a drafted guy that actually made an impact enough where i
02:31actually saw a true split carry role okay i was still the red zone guy i was still the third
02:36down
02:36guy i was still the first second down guy for like three four years over there so drafted guys
02:42they're rookies they have a ton to learn there's trust issues as a coach you don't put a rookie in
02:47unless you really trust this guy which takes a long time to learn the offense and actually be a pro
02:51okay and the most important thing you'll be able to protect the quarterback which is the most
02:55important thing that you have to be trusted on and so it takes time for rookies so drafted young guys
03:00that maybe aren't first second third rounders i wouldn't put a lot of stock in them taking a lot
03:04away early later on maybe they build up a reputation for themselves injuries obviously that can happen too
03:10but from just a draft principle standpoint i don't think it affects the first two guys um immediately
03:16interesting when you're looking at offenses and you're looking at style of play say it's an offense
03:24you've played in or style of offense you've played in does that help you when it comes to giving out
03:28advice because you know where these players are supposed to be and what years they could have look
03:32at coordinators and look how they've utilized what position of that player that you're looking to draft
