00:00I mean, there's not much left to destroy of Iran's conventional forces, conventional weaponry.
00:07And it does look, as we've been saying, a bit like we've entered a new phase,
00:10less kinetic, more economic. Would you agree with that assessment?
00:15So I agree that's the way the U.S. is looking at this. It's clear that we don't want to
00:20do
00:20the major escalation that President Trump has been threatening, and that we want to go and
00:25put more pressure on the economy. And as you mentioned, Iran seems to be blowing off
00:30these new sanctions, but then at the same time talking about it's all-out economic warfare.
00:36And they've already admitted that they're basically not exporting much energy at all,
00:41and that's how they get a majority of the funding for the regime. So I think this is the direction
00:45the U.S. wants to go. The question, of course, is Iran gets a vote, and what are they going
00:51to do?
00:52Are they going to basically sit back and see how much pressure this puts on them,
00:58or are they going to start striking back at our Gulf allies in the region, obviously,
01:02at the U.S. military in the region, and trying to cause the pain economically around the world
01:08to be going up just like the pain for them economically is happening in Iran.
