00:04Yeah, man, it's been a wild few days.
00:07It's very bittersweet.
00:09It's bitter because, of course, I wish I was still in the house.
00:11I wish I was still playing.
00:12I wish I was still able to fight with my people,
00:16you know, Yash, Taylor, Lala, you know, Haley.
00:19You know, so it's bitter, but it's sweet because, man,
00:21it's been great seeing my family.
00:23It's been really nice sleeping in my own bed, too, so that's been good.
00:27But I definitely wish I was still in the house playing.
00:29Anything that you've learned about since you've been out of the house
00:32that has really taken you by surprise?
00:35You know, like, not too much.
00:37I've kind of stayed off social media a bit.
00:39I've been on a little bit, but I've really been spending a lot of time
00:42with my family and friends, you know, so not too much.
00:47But, yeah, but, like, you know, the reactions of things, you know,
00:51have been just crazy, like, from every angle.
00:53But I kind of expected that going into the house, you know,
00:54when you're in the public eye, there will be some good, there will be bad.
00:58It comes with the territory.
00:59Where do you think you personally went wrong in the game strategically?
01:02Was there a misstep that you made that looking back,
01:04you feel like that was kind of where things fell apart for you?
01:07Man, that's a very good question.
01:09You know, so I think that I was playing a decent game,
01:13and I tried to make the moves, and I tried to pivot when I needed to pivot.
01:17You know, the one thing that I could never foresee happening was,
01:21you know, the diamond power of Vito being played.
01:24So I felt like I was doing everything.
01:26Up until that point, I did everything that I thought that I could do.
01:29With the information that I had, I made the best moves, you know,
01:31with the information that I had available to me.
01:33And I think that things were set up with Yash winning HOH
01:36and then Yash winning Vito.
01:37I think there was a good chance one of the icons,
01:40whether it was Angela or Dee, was going to be going home that week.
01:42But I could not foresee or predict that power being used.
01:46So ultimately, man, I played the game to the best of my ability.
01:49I know this last week, you kind of took an anti-icon stance
01:52and was very much willing to target them.
01:54But do you wish you took that stance earlier in the season
01:56and kind of rallied more of the newbies against them?
01:59You know, yeah, I mean, hindsight is 20-20.
02:01So, of course, looking back, I'm like,
02:02oh, man, I wish I would have rallied against them sooner.
02:06But for a while in the game, you know, I was working with them
02:09up until the Lyric eviction.
02:12But then even after the Lyric eviction,
02:14it didn't really matter too much because Lala,
02:16who was never in the Toolshed Alliance,
02:18ended up winning HOH that week.
02:20And so that was actually, it kind of worked in my favor
02:22because I was able to develop an alliance with Lala
02:26and basically went from being told I was going on the block
02:28to running her HOH that week.
02:30So it actually put me in an even better position
02:32not working with the icons that week.
02:34But the moment that I was going to get power again,
02:36I was planning on taking my shot at all three icons
02:39and putting all three of them on the block.
02:41Unfortunately, though, I never got that power.
02:43But the power was used against me, and here I am.
02:45It was.
02:46What are your thoughts on just the way Drew and Barrett
02:47have very much aligned with the icons
02:49and kind of been spreading information back to them?
02:51Has that frustrated you?
02:53You know, like, they got to do what they feel is best.
02:55Yeah, you know, it is a bit frustrating.
02:57But from a game standpoint,
03:00I feel like they are going to have regrets
03:01when they're out of the house.
03:03And they're going to look back and they're going to go,
03:04oh, man, I didn't play the game.
03:06The game played me.
03:06You know, they're playing the icons game right now.
03:09And they are expendable to the icons.
03:12And then even beyond that,
03:14Mallory and Melody are playing Drew and Barrett's game.
03:17So ultimately, all four of them
03:19are directly and indirectly playing the icons game.
03:23And I think that all of them will have a lot of regrets,
03:26you know, if they get cut from, you know,
03:28if they get evicted from the show
03:29when they go back and watch.
03:30Yeah, I know you had an up and down relationship with Jason.
03:32I know you've been asked a lot about that whole situation.
03:34Have you been in communication with him at all
03:37since you've been out of the house?
03:39Yeah, so I actually, I reached out to Jason.
03:41And I know that Jason's busy.
03:43I haven't heard anything back yet.
03:44I'm sure he gets a lot of DMs.
03:45Maybe he just hasn't seen it,
03:46or maybe he's just not ready to talk.
03:48And that's cool too.
03:49But yeah, but on a human level, man, I love Jason.
03:52And everything that happened between us was game.
03:54And even before our games clashed,
03:55we actually had a really good relationship.
03:57We had a good friendship in the house.
03:58And at one point in time,
03:59I even thought about starting an alliance with Jason.
04:02So it's, I have nothing but respect for him.
04:04I even, I messaged him and I said,
04:06hey man, I saw Queen Kamu.
04:07And I said, and I'm honored, you know?
04:09So I do hope that I hear back from him at some point
04:12and we can put all this, you know, behind us.
04:14But I wish him nothing but the best, truly.
04:16Yeah, has it been hard to you
04:17to kind of receive some of like, you know,
04:19the questions about that,
04:20whether, you know,
04:21with the quote-unquote anti-drag comments,
04:23has that been hard for you to deal with
04:24since leaving the house?
04:26You know, it's, again, like, dude, I like Jason.
04:31I was never trying to attack,
04:32like genuinely I was never trying to attack
04:34the drag community.
04:35And I still don't think that I actually did.
04:38When I made my comment,
04:39it was after I was asked several times to wear drag.
04:44You know, at one point in time,
04:45there were talks about there being a drag night at the house.
04:47And I respectfully said, hey, guys, you know,
04:49I'll be an audience member.
04:50I'll watch you guys.
04:51I'll be an audience member.
04:52And then the day of the tea party,
04:54when Drew and Barrett put their dresses on,
04:56multiple people asked me
04:57if I was going to also wear drag.
04:59And I kept saying like, no, no, no.
05:01You know, like respectfully, if they want to do it,
05:02you know, I want to be able to dress
05:04how I feel comfortable.
05:06And then it was kind of after being asked several times,
05:08I told Devin, I was like, dude,
05:09like, I just don't want to wear drag.
05:11You know, I want to be able to wear
05:12what I feel is, you know, is comfortable to me.
05:15And that was what ended up making the episode.
05:17And that's what people are holding on to
05:19and talking about,
05:19not realizing that I had been asked several times
05:21throughout the season up until that point
05:23to wear drag.
05:24But it was never any attack against the community.
05:27It was never any attack against Jason.
05:28I just simply wanted people in the house
05:30to respect how I wanted to dress.
05:33And it truly isn't anything beyond that.
