00:13How's what's your mindset like?
00:15You know, I'm feeling well rested.
00:17I'm getting my alone time.

00:23But I mean, I'm absolutely astonished and overwhelmed by all the love.
00:28Was there anything that you had to set up in your life, like assuming that you would have gone further,
00:32that kind of changed, whether it be work or family or anything?

00:37I live paycheck to paycheck.
00:38Like whenever I said in all my like silly little interviews, I have two dollars.

00:42Like quite literally even.
00:43So whenever I took that time off at work and I was like, hey, I'll probably have to peace out.
00:47My dad gave me a whole loan of money to get my automatic payment set up.
00:52And so sadly, yes, I am.
00:54In fact, little by little of them knowing that back.

01:05You know, as we saw, the turning point for you was you were told that you had the votes to

01:09And then you ultimately told other people that you had those votes.
01:11And that's when everything kind of went haywire.
01:13What was your reasoning for spreading the word about you having the votes to stay?
01:18Right.
01:19So initially I thought I was a goner either way.
01:23Whenever D, Angela, Barrett, and Drew told me that information that, hey, it's looking like the house wants you to
01:28go, whether it's Yash or Taylor you up against.
01:30I was like shocked.
01:32I was like, why am I the main threat?
01:33What did I do to perceive that I have nobody and I'm out the door?
01:37And so they kind of changed their mind.
01:39They were like, Ashley, we want you to stay.
01:41Like, let's actually come up with this major, huge game plan.
01:44You can go and you can be the spoon that stirs the pot.
01:47Like, go out with the bang.
01:48I'm like, I don't want to go out.
01:49But sure, like, if you want me to bang things up.
01:51And so they literally said, Ashley, you're wasting your time sitting here talking to us.
01:55Go out and campaign.
01:56And so I said, oh, all right.
01:57I got up and I immediately went to Jason.
01:59I went to Taylor.
02:00I said, there's a split vote.
02:01Like, I want to be on your guys' side of the house.
02:03And then here's where things got tricky.
02:07It is the big controversy.
02:09Or it's the big controversy that I went to Melody, Lyric, Mallory.
02:13And I, like, laid out the case that there's two sides of the house.
02:18And you're going to be on the wrong side of the vote if you don't vote with ours.
02:20Now, I did say the names to Melody.
02:23And then, however, I figured it would be implied of who the other people would be on the other side
02:30of the house anyways.
02:31I mean, just because I went ahead and said, like, that the second part was Lala, Jason.
02:37Taylor, Rome, and then the three girls.
02:39So I just figured it would be implied anyways.
02:41And also, I didn't have enough votes to say if just the people backing me were going to keep me.
02:46So I needed Melody, Lyric, or Mallory to vote me.
02:49So I just tried to confide in their trust.
02:51Yeah.
02:51I'm sure you know now that that was the moment when Melody heard that from you, that they were like,
02:55oh, we can't keep Ashley because now she's committing to the D side.
02:57Mm-hmm.
02:58That if D wasn't going to break the tie in your favor, you were kind of a goner either way.
03:02Right.
03:03So from D's perspective, she should be keeping you, but that's her problem.
03:06Right.

03:07So that was a shock to find out, too.
03:09It's like, dang, even if I would have gotten the votes, she still wouldn't have had the back because I
03:13couldn't count her in a vote anyways.
03:16I was like, oh, man, I wish D wasn't H-O-H.
03:17I can't believe she has my back.
03:18So to find out that she wasn't even going to keep me to stay over Taylor anyways was crazy.
03:22Do you wish early on in the game you kind of just committed to a group or committed to a
03:26specific side much more outwardly?
03:28Do you know what?
03:29Whenever I was in the house, I really was trying to work with people.
03:34I feel like I was kind of being shut down in a way.
03:38I don't know if people were taking my gameplay seriously.
03:39I had not really competed in a real deal competition after losing the first one.
03:43And so maybe people just weren't taking me seriously as a player.
03:47Also, my personality, I feel like they were just like kind of dismissing me in a way.
03:50I mean, game day two, I started talking game and I know people started probably talking day one.
03:55So, I mean, I wasn't that behind, but it was hard to play catch up in the sense that nobody
03:59was really confiding in me.
04:02Do you wish you did anything different pregame, whether it be, you know, do more research about the show, watch
04:07more seasons, any regrets there?
04:09I mean, I've watched my brother ever since I was a little girl, whether it be a shock or not.
04:14I mean, you can go into the house and think you have this big grand strategy, but you don't know
04:19what the players are going to be playing with.
04:20You don't know how they're going to perceive you.
04:22So, at the end of the day, no matter, I think, how much I figured, oh, I'm going to do
04:26a four-girl alliance, whatever.
04:28It's just, you can only plan so much.
04:30Yeah.
04:31There has been some craziness going on in the house since you left.
04:33I'm sure you're aware.
04:34I don't know how much you're aware of.
04:35What is your reaction to the way that things have been going down?
04:38Because it's a split house and these people hate each other, damn it.
04:41Yes, I'm loving the drama and I'm cheering on, like, the yelling and screaming and crying, hello, the dramatics are
04:47insane.
04:48However, oh, my gosh, the irony and the fact that I went home week one because I even brought a
04:54sense to the house that it might be divided only for week two.
04:58For that to be completely blown up, point blank, period, like, let it be known that there's a divide in
05:04the house.
05:04I was, I could have, I could have completely flown under the radar if it would have just gone.
05:10It is like a turning point for you.
05:12If you stay, then no one's probably targeting you and you could be in good with everybody.
05:16Exactly.
05:17As we wrap up here, who is winning Big Brother 28, Ashley?
05:21Oh, my gosh.
05:22It is going to be either Dee, Devin's, and if we don't watch out, it could be Kamu or Drew
05:30because they are flying through.
05:32Those are some really good picks, actually.
05:34I do think that Kamu is a dark horse because he can win.
05:37Oh, my gosh.
05:37And I don't, I feel like people don't like Haley, so they're going for Haley.
05:40I think they're all good picks.
05:42And Drew just has to be careful about not being too messy, but he knows the game.
