00:04but my takeaway is this. The American League blows so bad that the Red Sox can basically
00:11continue to just stay afloat, which is what they're doing. They're seven and eight in their
00:15last 15 games. Just stay afloat, and their lead has not changed at all, basically, in that period
00:22of time over the span of two weeks. Seven and eight in their last 15. They were seven games up
00:27on August 8th. They are now six and a half, seven in the last column up on August 24th.
00:33So it hasn't changed the least bit. The Giants blow. That's a bad baseball team. They should
00:39have won the game on Saturday night. The Giants should have, and they should have won the game
00:42yesterday. They were up three to nothing. You've got to put that one away, too. They had the Red
00:46Sox on the ropes twice and didn't win either one. So usually I say strength of schedule doesn't mean
00:51anything in baseball. I felt it meant something this weekend. Oh, the Giants are horrible.
00:55They are absolutely in a bad way, and I don't know. I thought there was more stuff on their
00:59side than yours, but be that as it may, there's a lot of bad baseball teams out there, and so

01:05Mazz felt a little bit better about Bennett. I know it was shaky early yesterday, but he hung in

01:26hit hard. They probably should have had more than three runs, and there were, even some of the outs
01:31were hard hit, and so, look, it was better as it went along. I'm still not totally sold that he's
01:37out of the woods. You know, again, I felt like the Giants kind of packed it in. Once they got

01:42they sort of like... It's a rudderless ship. It's what it feels like. I mean, I think the manager's in
01:46over his head. Oh, my God, that... Yeah, go ahead. Like, I... You know, the whole thing to me feels
01:51like broken. Badly, badly broken, right up to Buster Posey. That Saturday night, you're down
01:582-0, right? 2-0 or 3-0? Two-zip. Two-zip. Two-zip. You load the bases, nobody out

02:05And didn't score. And that San Francisco pitcher gets out of it. I mean, he maybe struck out two of
02:10the three guys, whatever. He did a great job. You didn't score. He gets out of it. And then they
02:16send him back out for the ninth, which I read someone mentioned it, but it's like... You're
02:23asking for trouble there, because the guy just, you know, escaped death. His adrenaline is through
02:30the roof. He just went back and sat down for five minutes. And now it's like, you know, typically
02:37you don't send that guy back out there, because he just did his job.
