00:01Hello everybody. Welcome. My name is Brooke Morrison for Odyssey. We're joined by Ive.
00:06Hi. Welcome. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. And congrats on everything so far. Bang bang,
00:13black hole, insane visuals for sure. And welcome back to California. Thank you so much. How does
00:19it feel to be back? Oh, we really miss California and it's one of my favorite places. Really? Yes,
00:26of course. What do you love? Food and all the places and shopping also. And I have so many
00:33happy memories here. So I really missed it. True. Same. I love California. Huge California
00:38fan. And you guys have done so much. You've gone from 11 to global tours to English releases. I mean,
00:45was there any moment in time where you stepped back and you were like, wow, we've become such a
00:50big group globally worldwide. We travel to many countries for tours and schedules. And I feel
00:58really happy when I hear our songs playing while we are out. Yeah. Oh, that's amazing. And with your
01:06world tour coming up, I mean, like speaking of all these shows and everything, you guys have a lot more
01:10experience under your belt than you did before. Do you guys have anything going into this? You know, like,
01:16what would you say is your biggest challenge, but also your biggest goal in these newer live shows?
01:21Oh, our goal is to show a better and more confident person than the last four. And to really
01:31enjoy every country we visit. I love that so much. And your discography
01:35has always shown a lot of balance between confidence and vulnerability. How intentional is that contrast
01:41when choosing songs that you guys put out? We don't try to create contrast on purpose. I think when the
01:49lyrics
01:50are honest, confidence comes out naturally and we can express ourselves in a bold, real way.
02:00Nice. Okay. And so we got Revive Plus, right? That is your new project, your second full length
02:06album. Congratulations on that as well. Thank you so much. Of course. It includes a solid slate of solo songs.
02:12What made you guys want to focus on solo work this time around? So since this is our second full
02:18album,
02:18we really wanted to show each member's own music style. So we worked on it. What kind of conversations
02:25did you guys have as a group about the message behind this album? We wanted to show a new side
02:31of
02:32this album. Just like our album, Revive Plus. So from hair, makeup, styling to album design, we
02:41talked a lot about it. Nice. When you look back now, is there anything that you guys would have
02:46done differently? Or does it feel like a perfect snapshot of that moment in time? There might be
02:51something I wish were different. But we gave our best in every moment. I think it's the best we could
02:59do.
02:59I love that so much. And each of you guys have grown so much individually as well.
03:03We see it all the time. Fans can see it. Fans love it.
03:06How do you make sure that IVE still feels cohesive while showcasing each of you guys individually?
03:12Yeah, we truly all have different personalities, but we try to share one message from our music.
03:21And if each member had to describe IVE's identity in 2026 with one word, what would it be and why?
03:28Well, I chose the word Revive because it's the title for our full album, second full album.
03:36And also, I hope this year could be an year that we can really revive.
03:43Nice. Love that.
03:45Me too. Revive.
03:46Okay.
03:47With our second full album, I feel like we've opened a whole new chapter for IVE.
03:56For me, our two, number two, we released our second full album and we're also starting our second world tour.
04:07Nice. Yep. Anyone else?
04:10For me, I will choose youth.
04:13Okay, youth.
04:14Yes. I love the word youth and I feel like IVE represents everyone's youth.
04:20I choose a new beginning.
04:23New beginning.
04:24Yes. Because we want to show a fresh and different moment ourselves, so I choose that.
04:32Love that.
04:32In my case, the special, no matter how many times you see us, we always want to show a special
04:42side of us.
04:44Love it so much.
04:45And going back to your English releases, you know, we have Supernova Love, which everybody loved all night as well.
04:52Huge tracks.
04:53What did you guys learn from working with artists like Sweetie and David Guetta?
04:59I was already a big fan of them and I really respect how they work and add so much depth
05:06to our music.
05:08So it was really great memories.
05:11Nice.
05:11You guys have achieved a lot so far, both critical acclaim and chart success.
05:16What do you think matters more to you now? Is it impact, numbers, or longevity?
05:21Our goal is to share our message with as many people as possible.
05:28We want to enjoy the process along the way.
05:34Nice. How do you guys personally describe success at this point in your career?
05:38It's hard to answer.
05:40Definitely.
05:41But yeah, for me, I think success means being able to make the music that I want to do.
05:53True.
05:54Yeah.
05:54Yeah, I mean, that means a lot.
05:56Not everybody can do that.
05:57That's a huge deal.
05:58Yeah, that's true.
05:59And the word empathy, which you guys have highlighted in a previous era.
06:02I mean, that's a pretty strong concept and a big, meaningful word, you know, to be empathetic.
06:07But what have your fans taught you about the word empathy?
06:12I learned that feelings can be shared even by just looking and that people need each other.
06:20I am happy that we can contact with our fans and share energy together.
06:27I love it.
06:28I mean, speaking of fans, is there a fan interaction recently that has, you know,
06:33shown you a little bit more of what your impact has been on them?
06:36I feel happy when fans like the things I like and follow my styles, like fashion or my taste.
06:45Yeah.
06:45Nice.
06:47I love that.
06:47So when we think of IVE songs, you guys have like a pretty strong discography now.
06:52Which of the song do you think deserves more attention than it actually got in real life?
06:58Well, it's a hard question again, but I think off the record deserves better.
07:05Okay.
07:06Yeah.
07:07Yeah.
07:07Why do you think that?
07:07Because we have a lot of great B-side songs, but like we've never tried like soft songs as title.
07:19Yeah, true.
07:19But yeah, it deserves better.
07:22Okay.
07:22It's a great song.
07:23Okay.
07:24Yeah.
07:24I feel that it deserves better.
07:26Speaking of all your music too, I mean like anything coming up,
07:29is there anything you can hint about what we haven't seen yet?
07:32Very short.
07:34New scene.
07:35New scene.
07:36Okay.
07:37Okay.
07:38All right.
07:38I got it.
07:39I love the short answers too.
07:41More stuff is on the way.
07:42That's all we got to know.
07:43That's right.
07:44What's something that you guys haven't shown fans yet, but you're excited to reveal in the next chapter?
07:49Something pure and bright and fresh moment we want to show for our fans.
07:57Love to see it.
07:58And thinking about your legacy.
08:00I mean, what is something that you hope your fans take away after all this time?
08:04I want us to be a group that want to remember for a long, long time.
08:12Right.
08:13Yeah.
08:14We try to give hope and comfort through our music.
08:19So I hope people feel stronger, listen to it.
08:24Amazing.
08:25Is there anything else you guys want fans to know about the tour and about anything
08:29else that's happening with IVE right now?
08:31Since we started our second world tour, I want dives all over the world to come
08:40over to our concert and enjoy with us.
08:43Yeah.
08:44And the people who are not dive yet, I want them to come and enjoy.
08:52Absolutely.
08:53We all got to come out and enjoy.
08:54Please.
08:55Yes.
08:55Yes.
08:55Thank you guys so much.
08:56I appreciate your time.
08:58Thank you so much.
08:59Thanks.
09:00Thanks.
09:00Thanks.
09:01Thanks.
09:01Thanks.
09:05Thanks.
09:06Thanks.
09:06Thanks.
