00:01:20It's founded on the research of archaeologists.

00:01:23Their studies of people and dwellings which existed in those times existed not only in rocky wastelands, but in the

00:01:30warmer climates, in lush prehistoric jungles.

00:01:34Not so very long ago, an explorer in a wild, tropic jungle found evidence which told this story.

00:01:41Nobody knows when these events took place, maybe 10,000, maybe 100,000 years ago.

00:01:47It's the story of romance when the world was young.

00:01:51And as all romances must, it concerns itself mainly with one man, Engor, and one woman, Tigre.

00:02:00This is the woman of our story.

00:02:03She is Tigre, the leader of her tribe.

00:02:06Under the spell of the full moon, Tigre and the women of her tribe dance restlessly, savagely,

00:02:13impelled by a feeling of frustration, of a promise unfulfilled.

00:02:17They dance, not knowing why, and continue until exhausted.

00:04:53Old as the moon and wise as the sun.

00:04:56She knows why the young ones dance so restlessly in the light of the full moon.

00:05:01She's telling them the story of the founding of their tribe.

00:05:04She explains that many moons ago, the tribe was founded by Tana, the mother of Tigre.

00:05:10In those days, the women were the slaves.

00:05:13And in Tana's tribe, as in all other tribes, no woman dared question the men.

00:05:18The men needed only to order and the trembling women hastened to obey.

00:05:26She tells them that when they were small children, they lived deep in the jungle, the young ones of a

00:05:32band of jungle dwellers.

00:05:42This is Tigre's mother, Tana.

00:05:45She and the others have stopped for a momentary rest, tired from carrying the carcass of a dead animal.

00:06:10Tana and the other women wearily pick up the carcass and continue.

00:06:43By now, the women are completely exhausted and must pause again for rest.

00:07:00Angrily, the leader storms back and yells for them to get going.

00:07:06The rebellious Tana tells him that the men should carry the dead animal.

00:07:17Knocked to the ground, the infuriated, desperate Tana throws a rock at the leader, felling him.

00:08:51The entire tribe is unaware that they have been sighted by the terrible Gwadi.

00:08:56This nine-foot-tall monster has roamed the jungle for years, bringing death and destruction to whatever he touches.

00:09:08Tana sees the little girl is missing and calls to the other women to follow her in search of the

00:09:14Savage, merciless, possessed of Herculean strength, Gwadi is the most feared thing in the prehistoric world.
