00:01:13Our knowledge of the prehistoric world before the first historian sat down to write the story of his people is
00:01:19vague.
00:01:20It's founded on the research of archaeologists.
00:01:23Their studies of people and dwellings which existed in those times existed not only in rocky wastelands, but in the
00:01:30warmer climates, in lush prehistoric jungles.
00:01:34Not so very long ago, an explorer in a wild, tropic jungle found evidence which told this story.
00:01:41Nobody knows when these events took place, maybe 10,000, maybe 100,000 years ago.
00:01:47It's the story of romance when the world was young.
00:01:51And as all romances must, it concerns itself mainly with one man, Engor, and one woman, Tigre.
00:02:00This is the woman of our story.
00:02:03She is Tigre, the leader of her tribe.
00:02:06Under the spell of the full moon, Tigre and the women of her tribe dance restlessly, savagely,
00:02:13impelled by a feeling of frustration, of a promise unfulfilled.
00:02:17They dance, not knowing why, and continue until exhausted.
00:02:22All right.
00:04:22This is Arva.
00:04:27This is Tigre. You've met her before.
00:04:35This is Tule.
00:04:41This is Eros.
00:04:48This is Nika.
00:04:51This is the wise one.
00:04:53Old as the moon and wise as the sun.
00:04:56She knows why the young ones dance so restlessly in the light of the full moon.
00:05:01She's telling them the story of the founding of their tribe.
00:05:04She explains that many moons ago, the tribe was founded by Tana, the mother of Tigre.
00:05:10In those days, the women were the slaves.
00:05:13And in Tana's tribe, as in all other tribes, no woman dared question the men.
00:05:18The men needed only to order and the trembling women hastened to obey.
00:05:26She tells them that when they were small children, they lived deep in the jungle, the young ones of a
00:05:32band of jungle dwellers.
00:05:42This is Tigre's mother, Tana.
00:05:45She and the others have stopped for a momentary rest, tired from carrying the carcass of a dead animal.
00:06:10Tana and the other women wearily pick up the carcass and continue.
00:06:43By now, the women are completely exhausted and must pause again for rest.
00:07:00Angrily, the leader storms back and yells for them to get going.
00:07:04Bro!
00:07:05Laura!
00:07:06Me!
00:07:06The rebellious Tana tells him that the men should carry the dead animal.
00:07:17Knocked to the ground, the infuriated, desperate Tana throws a rock at the leader, felling him.
00:07:23Tana immediately realizes that they must flee with the children, or the men of the tribe will take revenge on
00:07:28them.
00:07:30The women quickly gather the children and rush off into the jungle.
00:07:41Hala!
00:07:46Gina!
00:07:48Bro!
00:07:50The stunned leader orders the men to go after the women, but the women have eluded them.
00:08:02The wise old woman tells them how, as time passed, the tribe prospered under Tana's able leadership.
00:08:08And the little girls learned how to fend for themselves.
00:08:12They all learned the skills of hunting and fishing for their food.
00:08:37The child on shore, like all children are wont to do, decides to wander off and do a little exploring
00:08:42herself.
00:08:51The entire tribe is unaware that they have been sighted by the terrible Gwadi.
00:08:56This nine-foot-tall monster has roamed the jungle for years, bringing death and destruction to whatever he touches.
00:09:06Hala!
00:09:07Hala!
00:09:08Tana sees the little girl is missing and calls to the other women to follow her in search of the
00:09:12child.
00:09:14Savage, merciless, possessed of Herculean strength, Gwadi is the most feared thing in the prehistoric world.
00:09:26The little girl explains to the wise one as best she can that she has seen the terrible giant.
00:09:42Gwadi has successfully captured two of the women and is carrying them off.
00:09:58Tana was the only one to get away, but has been mortally hurt and dies with Gwadi's name on her
00:10:04lips.
00:10:06Gwadi!
00:10:08Gwadi!
00:10:15The wise old woman flees with the children.
00:10:18Gwadi!
00:10:19Even now, 15 years later, the mention of the dreaded name of Gwadi still strikes terror in the hearts of
00:10:26these same girls.
00:10:28They know that the hideous giant still ranges the jungle.
00:10:42The wise one tells them that they must forget their hatred of Anir, their word for men.
00:10:48The moon is full.
00:10:50By the time of the advent of the next low moon, they must find and capture themselves husbands if the
00:10:56tribe is to survive.
00:11:02And the next morning, the six determined women set forth on their mission, accompanied by one of their panthers.
00:11:23This is the man of our story.
00:11:25He is Angor.
00:11:27This is Angor's friend, Rueg.
00:11:29This is Kama and the bearded Ott.
00:11:32Angor and his friends are on a foraging expedition.
00:11:35They are hunting food for their cave-dwelling tribe.
00:11:39They've cornered a savage tiger under pitting their skill with stone-headed war clubs against this vicious monster of the
00:11:45jungle.

00:13:27The panther, smelling the blood of a dead tiger, excitedly breaks away from the girls.
00:13:32They chase after their pet.

00:15:36Suddenly, Odd falls unconscious.
00:15:39Angor and his tribesmen are amazed to see that they've been attacked by members of the weaker sex.

00:22:49What type of women are these Ruig wonders who attack men and live in trees?
00:22:55Nika gazes at her captain, entranced by her first close look at a male.
00:23:19Uh, ha, ha!
00:23:25Uh, uh, uh, ha, ha!
00:23:35Oh!
00:23:42Hm!

00:24:08This cave is the home of Angor's tribe, and these are his people.
00:24:13They are mountain people, cave dwellers.
00:24:24They are mountain people, cave dwellers, cave dwellers, cave dwellers, cave dwellers, cave dwellers.
00:24:30Their leader looks skyward at a soaring vulture.
00:24:33Knowing that where the vulture settles, they will find a wounded or dead animal.
00:24:38He motions for his hunters to follow him.
00:24:41Thrawn.

00:25:54Ingor. Ingor! Ingor!
00:26:02Ingor's mother and the rest of the cave dwellers crowd around the wounded Ingor.
00:26:06His mother motions them to carry Ingor into the cave where she can tend.
00:26:16Weeks have gone by and the leader of the cave dwellers is marking on the rocks the story of the
00:26:20women as Ingor has told it to him.
00:26:22Time has healed Ingor's wounds and despite the leader's protest, Ingor is determined upon revenge.
00:26:30Ingor! Genie!
00:26:34Ingor vows to rescue his tribesmen and to bring back to this cave as slaves the women who captured them.
00:26:45Ingor! Ingor!

00:27:09Ingor!
00:27:32Ingor!
00:27:35Angor makes his way through the jungle toward the camp of the women.
00:27:58Angor stumbles and loses his weapon, but Janet stopped for it.
00:28:02He finally eludes the elephant by jumping behind a large boulder and the lumbering animal passes him by.
00:28:21Having lost his only weapon, Angor must make a new club.
00:28:25His only protection against the many dangers lurking in the jungle.
00:28:48He's been redeemed.
00:28:48And as example, Manor trams all in the jungle.
00:28:49You may be dead, the man was a Jew.
00:28:49He's been dead in the jungle.
00:28:50We've learned a great life.
00:28:51And that's all the way he's been dead.
00:29:02Angor gathers some stones to use for the head of his club he starts hacking two
00:29:07of them together to make a sharp edge a spark ignites the dry leaves on the
00:29:16ground and Angor is taken aback by the strange unknown phenomenon fire he
00:29:24stretches his arm out to touch it and draws his hand back in pain he doesn't
00:29:29understand it but he knows that this new discovery of his has the power to inflict

00:34:19Suddenly, he sees ahead of him the huge, giant waddy.
00:34:24Terrified, Angor decides that the tree is his best hiding place and quickly climbs up into it.

00:47:53Giné. Elko. Lethal. He asks her if she is so wise and superior. Why doesn't she see if she can

00:59:59Tofu? He offers a piece of raw meat to Engor, who's intrigued by the scent of the meat in
