00:52the last few months. We are going to take back the Senate. The Cook Report
00:58says taken back the Senate is now a toss-up. That's their words. Republicans
01:04thought they had the Senate locked down but now Democrats we are on the path to
01:10victory. We've blown the map wide open. We're competing in states no one ever
01:16thought we had a chance in. Not just blue states but purple states and even red
01:21states and we've compete we've expanded the map that we've that we haven't been
01:27able to do in years. Why why are we doing so well in even these red states
01:33because we are focusing on what people care about the costs high cost of living
01:40the chaos whether it's in the streets of our cities or in Iran and the corruption
01:47the rampant and blatant corruption of Donald Trump and the fact that Senate
01:52Republicans go right along with it and don't make any effort to stop it. We've
01:58had relentless recruitment we have impressive candidates these candidates
02:03fit their states but we're all united in the issues we're fighting the cost and
02:10chaos and corruption of the Trump administration and the message might be
02:16different in Iowa than in Texas than in Alaska in the way each each candidate
02:23makes it fit the needs of their state but the overall theme is exactly the same.
02:29We built multiple paths to the majority no one ever thought we'd build any path to
02:34the majority but now there are multiple paths and while Trump and the
02:38Republicans make Americans lives more expensive more chaotic more corrupt
02:46we're doing something very very different so we are going to take back the
02:50Senate something no one thought was possible even months ago. We have the
02:56candidates we have the message and now we have the map. Republicans spent years
03:04counting on a Senate majority on November 3rd Democrats are going to take it from
03:09them. This cook report is a recipe for democratic success cook recipe and his joke okay we'll take
03:22questions on this subject.
03:24I wonder you know what your take is you know you have a sort of surprising upset in Florida with
03:31the candidate who certainly more to the left of you know
03:37the candidate backed by you know folks like you. What do you make of this rise of the BSA and
03:42what that could mean for the Senate?
03:44Well we're a big tent party and you know not everyone has the same exact view on every
03:50single issue but if you look at the overall issues the costs that people pay the chaos
03:59in the Trump administration you see it daily and the corruption and the corruption
04:04one of our candidates Senator Ossoff does this so well he links how that
04:11corruption makes people's costs higher. For instance the corruption and Trump
04:16taking millions and millions of dollars from the oil and gas industry the coal
04:22industry and then cutting off clean energy which is the cheapest way to get
04:27power has raised people's electric bills six hundred seven hundred dollars. So we
04:33are a big tent party and we're united on the major issues facing America. Yes.
04:42I have one mission win the Senate and we're on the path to doing it.
04:51Look the bottom line is we're going to win Michigan let me tell you why we're
04:55going to win Michigan. First El Sayed has brought in new energy and new talent into
05:01the Democratic Party but also in Michigan itself but second Michigan Trump has so
05:10bungled the Michigan economy you know the numbers for Trump on how well he's doing
05:15and keeping costs down in the economy is in the low 30s in the country it's in the
05:20high 20s in Michigan. Why? He created a trade war with Canada. Anyone who's halfway
05:28decent as president knows that the Michigan economy and the Canadian economy are totally
05:33intertwined and he's blown it. We're going to win Michigan.
