So...

I decided to make caramel apples.

How hard could it be?

You melt the caramel...

put an apple on a stick...

dip it...

and somehow manage not to cover yourself from head to toe in the process.

I apparently missed that last step.

I've got caramel in my hair...

caramel on my shirt...

chopped nuts stuck to places chopped nuts were never meant to be...

and I'm pretty sure I'm going to smell like a candy shop for the next three days.

But I have to admit...

the apples came out pretty damn good.

And if you think caramel apples are delicious...

you should taste my caramel-covered...
