Learn how to fit an Excel sheet on one page.

To fit an Excel sheet on one page for printing, you can easily scale the page by following a few simple steps. First, go to the "File" menu and select "Print," then look for the "Scaling" option. Choose "Fit Sheet on One Page" to make Excel automatically fit the page. If you want Excel to automatically resize your content, you can adjust the print area by selecting the cells you want to print, then go to the "Page Layout" tab, click "Print Area," and choose "Set Print Area." This way, you can ensure that your entire Excel sheet fits on one page when you print it. This method is the simplest way to print an Excel sheet on one page.

00:00The number one mistake every new Excel user makes is to print Excel document only to find out that
00:06some part of the table are truncated on page two. Let me show you what I mean by that. If
00:10I need to
00:11print this particular data set worksheet here, you press ctrl p to print, you can get a rough
00:15preview of what the output is going to look like. Now if you look at the bottom portion of this
00:20print
00:20window here, you can see that's page two of it. And if you click on this next page arrow, you
00:25can
00:25see this is a second page of what the output is going to look like. Now the objective here is
00:30to
00:30fit the whole data set table into one sheet. How do you do it? Well, there's several ways to do
00:35it,
00:35but this by far is my favorite. Now at this point, if you press escape on your keyboard, you'll go
00:41back
00:41to your worksheet here, and then you'll see a couple of dotted lines here. These dotted lines
00:47are called page break lines. Now this is to indicate that from this cell all the way to here
00:54it's going to be page one, and the second box here is going to be page two. So how do
01:00you
01:01consolidate so that this dotted line will be on the edge of this line here? The way to do it
01:07is
01:07quite simple. You're going to have to go to the page break preview, which is at the bottom here of
01:12this page break preview icon here. Click on this guy here. It will come up to this screen here, and
01:17this
01:17will give you an idea of what the page division looks like. Now you can see this is page one
01:21here,
01:21and this is page two here. If you want to put everything into one page, simply click on this
01:27page break line and drag it all the way to the edge of the data set table. Now this whole
01:32thing
01:32is going to be page one. Now you're going to go back to your normal view. You click on this
01:38icon
01:38here showing normal, and you're back, and you can see that the dotted lines are all adjusted and
01:43will be printed on one page here. Now if you press your ctrl p to print, you can see that
01:48the table
01:49or your data set table is actually adjusted to print on one sheet, and that can be validated
01:54at the bottom where you can see page one of one.
