00:03All of you know and have observed that even milliseconds and time of 0.5 seconds also
00:11can count when it is a very crucial time.
00:14Like say for example, you are on a road crossing the road on a busy intersection.
00:19If you don't react in time, then you might have an accident.
00:23So how did that happen?
00:25Just because sometimes there was a delay in you observing it.
00:28But can there be a delay even when you are observing the vehicle and noticing the vehicle?
00:33The answer is yes, but rarely.
00:36In some optic nerve diseases, especially like partial optic atrophies, you may be able to
00:41see the car which is crossing the road.
00:43But then the time that takes for us to see the signal for it to pass through the optic
00:49nerve, reach the brain and for you to react can get delayed just because the processing
00:54time can be longer.
00:55This happens in certain optic nerve situations and some retinal conditions as well.
01:01Go check with your doctor so as to even take care of such situations and come to understand
01:07whether such a situation can be happening in your eye.
01:10Being proactive about your eye health is one of the most important things that you can do
01:16to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
