Tornado-warned storms swept through parts of the Midwest on Aug. 19, including at least one reported tornado near Muncie, Indiana.

00:00We go east into Indiana and near Muncie, look at this, storm chasers reported a tornado approaching Muncie.
00:07There it is, you can see a rope-like feature dangling again out of the base of the clouds.
00:12You can see a funnel, but then a ground circulation developed.
00:16There it is, the condensation funnel just beginning to show itself there, a narrow tracer of that tornado.
00:22There's definitely rotation on that.
00:24That tornado warning was issued for Muncie, Indiana, and it expired back around 6 Eastern time, 5 Central time, 6
00:35Eastern there in Indiana, though.
00:36As we take a look at what's going on right now, we're still tracking some strong storms moving through parts
00:41of northwest Missouri.
00:42This cluster of storms produced 70-mile-per-hour gusts in southeastern Nebraska, and then we've continued to see it
00:49move east and southeast,
00:50although it is getting a little bit more fractured here as some different cells have popped up in advance of
00:59that squall line,
01:01slightly interrupting its general structure.
01:04Still, strong storms there in some areas north of Kansas City.
