00:04prophet daniel chapter 9 verses 9 and 10
00:11to the lord our god belong mercies and forgiveness
00:16though we have rebelled against him
00:19neither have we obeyed the voice of the lord our god
00:24to walk in his laws which he set before us
00:31dearly beloved brethren the scripture moves us in sundry places
00:36to acknowledge and confess our manifold sins and wickedness
00:42but that we should not disassemble nor clave them before the face of almighty god our heavenly father
00:51but confess them with a humble lowly penitence and obedient heart
00:57to the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same by his infinite goodness and mercy
01:07and although we ought at all times humbly to acknowledge our sins before god
01:12yet
01:14ought we chiefly so to do when we assemble and meet together to render thanks for the great benefits
01:21we have received at his hands
01:23to set forth his most worthy praise to hear his most holy word
01:30and to ask those things which are requisite and necessary as well for the body as the soul
01:39wherefore i pray and beseech you as many as are here present
01:43to accompany me with a pure heart and humble voice
01:48to the throne of the heavenly grace
01:55almighty and most merciful father
01:59we have erred and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep
02:05we have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts
02:11we have offended against thy holy laws
02:17we have left undone
02:18those things which we ought to have done
02:22and we have done those things we ought not to have done
02:25and there is no help in us
02:29for thou, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders
02:35spare thou them, O God, who confess their faults
02:38restore thou those who are penitent
02:43according to thy promises declared unto mankind
02:47in Christ Jesus our Lord
02:50and grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake
02:54that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous and sober life

14:54An Amorite was your father
14:56And your mother was a Hittite
14:59As for your birth in the day you were born

15:11Though I pitied you to do any of these things to you

16:46Thus you were decked with gold and silver
16:48Your clothing was a fine linen
16:51Silk and embroidered work
16:53You ate fine flour, honey and oil
16:58You were exceedingly beautiful
17:00And you prospered to royal estate
17:04Your renown went among the nations for your beauty
17:08For it was perfect
17:10Through my majesty which I had put upon you
17:13Said the Lord Yahweh
17:16But you trusted in your beauty
17:19You played the prostitute
17:20Because of your renown
17:22You poured out your prostitution
17:24On everyone who passed by
17:26It was his
17:29You took your garments
17:30And made for yourselves high places decked with colour
17:33And played the prostitute on them
17:36This shall not happen
17:38Neither shall it be
17:41You also took your beautiful jewels of my gold and my silver
17:46Which I had given you
17:48And made for yourselves images of men
17:50And played the prostitute with them
17:55You took your embroidered garments
17:57Covered them
17:58And set my oil and incense before them
18:02My bread also which I gave you
18:05Fine flour, oil and honey with which I fed you
18:09You set it even before them for a pleasant aroma
18:13And so it was
18:15Said the Lord
18:17Moreover you have taken your sons and daughters
18:20Whom you have borne to me
18:22And sacrificed these to have them devoured
18:25Was your prostitution a small matter
18:28That you have slain my children and delivered them up
18:31Causing them to pass through the fire to them
18:35In all your abominations and your prostitution
18:38You have not remembered the days of your youth
18:41When you were naked and bare
18:44Wallowing in your own blood
18:47This has happened after all your wickedness
18:50Woe, woe to you, says the Lord Yahweh
18:52That you have built for yourselves a vaulted palace
18:55Have made yourself a lofty place in every street
18:58You have built your lofty place at the head of every way
19:03Making your beauty an abomination
19:06You have opened your feet to everyone who passed by
19:10And multiplied your prostitution
19:13You have committed sexual immorality with the Egyptians
19:17Your neighbours of great flesh
19:20And have multiplied your prostitution
19:23Provoking me to anger
19:26See then
19:26I have stretched out my hand over you
19:29I have diminished your portion
19:31And delivered you to the will of those who hate you
19:34The daughters of the Philistines
19:36Who were ashamed of your lewd ways
19:41You have played the prostitute also with the Assyrians
19:44Because you were insatiable
19:46Yes, you have played the prostitute with them
19:49And yet you were not sacrificed
19:52You more ever multiplied your prostitution to the land of merchants
19:56In Chaldea
19:58And yet you were not satisfied with this
20:01How weak is your heart, says the Lord Yahweh
20:04Since you do all these things
20:06The work of an impudent prostitute
20:09In that you build your vaulted place at the head of every way
20:13And make your lofty place in every street
20:17And have not been
20:18As a prostitute
20:20In that you scorn pay
20:23A wife who commits adultery
20:25Who takes strangers instead of her husband
20:29People give gifts to all prostitutes
20:32But you give gifts to all your lovers
20:34And bribe them
20:35That they may come to you on every side for your prostitution
20:39You are different from other women in your prostitution
20:43In that no one follows you to play the prostitute
20:46And whereas you give higher, no higher is given to you
20:50Therefore you are different
20:54Therefore, prostitute, hear Yahweh's word
20:58Thus says the Lord Yahweh
21:01Because your filthiness was poured out
21:03And your nakedness uncovered through your prostitution with your lovers
21:07And because of all the idols of your abominations
21:11And for the blood of your children that you gave to them
21:15See, I will gather your lovers with whom you have taken pleasure
21:19And all those you have loved with all those you have hated
21:23I will even gather them against you on every side
21:26And will uncover your nakedness to them
21:29That they may all see your nakedness
21:33I will judge you as women who break wedlock, shed blood and judged
21:40I will bring on you the blood of wrath and jealousy
21:43I will also give you into their hands
21:46And they will throw you down into their vaulted places
21:49Taking down your lofty places
21:52They will strip you of your clothes
21:55Take your beautiful jewels
21:56They will leave you naked and bare
22:00They will also bring up a company against you
22:03They will stone you with stones and thrust you through with their swords
22:07They will burn your houses with fire
22:10And execute judgments on you in the sight of many women
22:15I will cause you to cease from playing the prostitute
22:19And you will also give no hire any more
22:22So I will cause my wrath toward you to rest
22:25And my jealousy will depart from you
22:28I will be quiet and will not be angry any more
22:36Because you have not remembered the days of your youth
22:39But have raged against me in all these things
22:42Therefore behold, I also will bring your way upon your head

22:48And you shall not commit this lewdness with all your abominations
22:55Behold, everyone who uses proverbs will use this proverb against you saying
23:00As is the mother, so is the daughter
23:03You are the daughter of your mother who loathes her husband and her children
23:09You are the sister of your sisters who loath their husband and their children
23:15Your mother was a Hittite, your father an Amorite
23:18Your elder sister is Samaria, who dwells at your left hand
23:22She and her daughters
23:25Your younger sister, who dwells at your right hand, is Sodom and her daughters
23:32Yet you have not walked in their ways, nor done their abominations
23:37But you soon were more corrupt than they in all your ways
23:45As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, Sodom your sister has not done
23:50She nor her daughters, as you have done, you and your daughters
23:57Behold, this was in the iniquity of sister Sodom
24:01Pride, fullness of bread, and prosperous ease was in her and her daughters
24:07She didn't strengthen the hand of the poor and needy
24:10They were arrogant and committed abominations before me
24:14Therefore I took them away when I saw it
24:18Samaria has not committed half of your sins
24:20But you have multiplied your abominations more than they
24:25You have justified your sisters by all your abominations which you have done
24:30You also bear your own shame yourself, in that you have judged your sisters
24:36Through your sins that you have committed more abominable than they
24:41They are more righteous than you
24:44Yes, be also confounded and bear your shame, that you have justified your sisters
24:52I will reverse their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters
24:56The captivity of Samaria and her daughters
24:59The captivity of your captives among them
25:02That you may bear your own shame and may be ashamed because of all that you have done
25:09In that you are a comfort to them
25:12Your sisters Sodom and her daughters will return to their former estate

25:22You and your daughters will return to your former estate
25:27For your sister Sodom was not mentioned by your mouth in the day of your pride
25:32Before your wickedness was uncovered

29:44With regard to spiritual gifts, brothers and sisters
29:47I do not want you to be uninformed
29:50You know that when you were pagans you were often led astray by speechless idols
29:55However you were led
29:57So I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says
30:03Jesus is cursed
30:04And no one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit
30:10Now there are different gifts but the one and the same Spirit
30:15There are different ministries but the one and the same Lord
30:19God who produces all of them in everyone
30:20There are different results but the one and the same God who produces all of them in everyone
30:26To each person the gift of the Spirit is given for the benefit of all
30:31For one person is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom and another the message of knowledge according to
30:38the same Spirit
30:40To another faith by the same Spirit and to another gift of healing by the one Spirit
30:45To another performance of miracles to another prophecy to another discernment of spirits and to another different kinds of tongues
30:55To yet another the interpretation of tongues
30:59It is one and the same Spirit distributing as he decides to each person which produces all these things
31:08This is the word of the Lord
