U14 Stingrays player Harper Patterson urgently needs a stem cell donor match. A Stem Cell Donors Australia stall was set up at the Stingrays home ground on Sunday, where they were doing swabs to find a donor match. Video by Anna Warr

00:07Hi, my name is Harper Patterson and I play in the Unaffording to the Roasting Race Teens.
00:12Today at our home ground we've had swabs for people to come down and swab and it's been really good.
00:19A lot of people have come and I'm really happy and the support has been very good.
00:24Hi, my name is Natalie Patterson. I am the mother of Harper.
00:28Harper is a 13 year old girl. She plays for the under 14 stingrays.
00:34We're here at Lakelands Oval at DAPTO with Stem Cell Donors Australia.
00:41We're here today running a swab day for people between the ages of 17 and 35.
00:49And we're hoping to get people on the register to help other people in her situation with blood cancers
00:58and blood disorders to give them a second chance at life.
01:02So we're down here today. We've got a lot of community support, especially the Stingrays, her club.
