00:57To understand how Quando Rondo ended up here and what he stands to lose if he slips,
01:01you have to go back to December 2024 when he stood in a federal courtroom and received his sentence.
01:07He had pleaded guilty to a marijuana conspiracy charge reduced from an initial indictment that included allegations involving methamphetamine, cocaine,
01:15and fentanyl.
01:15The judge's ruling was clear.
01:17Tyquan Bowman, otherwise known as rapper Quando Rondo, was sentenced today to 33 months, and that'll be a concurrent sentence.
01:2533 months. Any time already served in custody would count toward the total.
01:29Now, any time he's already served, the judge ruled, will count towards that sentence, and he'll also pay a $40
01:35,000 fine.
01:36On top of the prison time and the fine, the judge ordered three years of supervised release,
01:41a grueling period after incarceration, during which every aspect of Quando Rondo's life would be monitored and regulated by the
01:47federal government.
01:48And the judge also ruled that he'll serve three years of supervisory release after he is released.
01:54That supervised release includes mental health counseling, mandatory drug testing, and educational program requirements.
