00:00It's interesting, you know, like it's so much fun.
00:03It's colors, it's jukebox, it's like play, right?
00:07It does not look like, as we see the call centers as like cubicles or headsets and all that stuff.
00:17So what's going on there?
00:19You know, you're so right.
00:21Remember back in the day, we had certain teachers where their classroom was a little brighter
00:26and their stories were more colorful.
00:30And they encouraged participation and especially play.
00:36And every company I've worked for, it's been sterile, gray, uncomfortable seats in bad magazines.
00:45It was terrible.
00:46And the coffee's horrible.
00:48And so it's almost like they're doing you a favor.
00:52And I didn't want that.
00:53But I, working at my friend's center, I wasn't the owner.
01:00So I got to be with the people in multiple departments.
01:03And you get to hear things in the lunchroom, in the cubicles, by the water cooler.
01:09You hear the good and you hear the bad.
01:11So I said, okay, let's take some notes here.
01:14If I ever get a chance to do it on my own, I'll double up on the good and eliminate
01:19the bad.
01:21And I got him still a kid.
01:23So I collected pinball machines and arcade machines and air hockey tables.
01:27And I wanted a happy medium for people to play, let off steam, meet people.
01:34And when they have to walk upstairs and make their phone calls, at least they're walking
01:37by a Pac-Man machine, you know, with some interceptor mood.
01:41And I've had people fall in love in the game room because they had a chance to.
