Learning Manual Operation of a Canon T7

Subscribe to follow along with a video creator in the Missouri Ozarks and the manager wants to try a new strategy with two Canon cameras! The Canon EOS Rebel T7 and the Canon VIXIA HF R800 camcorder with jacks for external microphones and headphones!

Rick is the studio manager, chief camera operator and video editor at DR J Studio LLC near Richland Missouri, and because the studio is on a nothing budget, a professional camera isn’t affordable.

Rick uses a Canon Vixia HF R800 camcorder and a Canon EOS Rebel T7 and each have their strengths and weaknesses.

The R800 has headphone and microphone jacks and fits on a Camcaddy Scorpion rig pretty nicely for continuous recording and capturing fantastic sound with a shotgun mic! The R800 camcorder has interchangeable lenses as well. The T7 is fantastic for long distance filming with a manual supertelephoto 480-800 lens as well as two Canon lenses, an AF 18-55 and an AF 75-300 lens.

The cameraman has been experimenting with the Shutter Speeds, F-Stop and ISO speeds to see what the different settings would appear and thereby understanding why the formulas exist.
