00:00Former One Malaysia Development Berhat, OneMDB, Chief Executive Officer Datuk Sharol Azrael Ibrahim Halmi told the High Court on Monday
00:08that he did not know why the company had dropped him from its US$5.64 billion civil suit.
00:14The 56-year-old, testifying as the fourth plaintiff witness, said he had not reached any agreement with the government
00:20to be removed from the suit and had not been given any explanation for the decision.
00:25He said this during cross-examination by lawyer G.K. Gannison, who represents former OneMDB Investment Director Kelvin Tan K.
00:33Jin, the seventh defendant.
00:35Sharol Azrael also denied a suggestion by lawyer Noor Shiafina Zvani Abdullah, representing former Director of Investments and Chief Investment

00:51Earlier, Datuk Sri Najib Tun Razak's counsel, Tan Sri Muhammad Shafi Abdullah, told the court the defense would need four
00:58days to cross-examine Shahrul Azrael.

01:42Vincent Bengh, former Chief Financial Officer Radhi Mohamed, Kelvin Tan, and former Chief Investment Officer Nick Faisal Arif Kamil as
01:49defendants.
01:50Last week, OneMDB dropped its suit against Radhi without liberty to refile.
01:55Jasmine had previously also been removed from the suit.
01:58The writ of summons accuses the defendants of, among other things, breach of trust, breach of statutory duty,
02:05abuse of power, and conspiracy to misappropriate OneMDB funds.
02:10The trial before Judicial Commissioner Mohamed Redzouan Idris resumes on Tuesday.
