High temperatures inside buses, lack of air conditioning on some lines... the intense heat is putting Ile-de-France bus drivers to the test. "It makes the work very gruelling, and it even affects the safety of both staff and passengers," says Sami Kennouzi, CGT urban transport union representative. In a letter sent to the RATP in early July, the labour inspectorate recorded temperatures above 38°C on a bus in the Paris region.
