00:05BBC, by the way, does run adverts, of course, runs adverts now about how wonderful it is
00:12producing propaganda and adverts basically trying to convince you how great the BBC is
00:21all very North Korea, really. And certainly in terms of the BBC licence fee, well, that's on
00:28the way out. We know that, but pretty sinister that it seems that the BBC now want to switch
00:34to a compulsory household levy for some reason that's collected through utility bills. Pretty
00:42bizarre when they're already running adverts now, just adverts as to how wonderful they
00:48are. Why wouldn't you just have commercial adverts so people that aren't interested in
00:52the BBC aren't forced to fund it? And certainly in terms of public opinion on the BBC, well,
00:57find out now the latest poll. I'm sure those who think the BBC is wonderful will continue
01:02living in complete denial. A majority of the country doesn't trust the BBC, doesn't trust
01:07BBC News, including 82% of reformed voters. More people think the BBC has a left-wing bias
01:14than a right-wing bias because sometimes they argue, well, we're accused of bias on both
01:19sides. Well, actually, no, it's much larger on one side than the other. Fewer than a quarter
01:24of people in this country think the licence fee is good value for money. And of course,
01:28we know the Tories didn't have the balls to do anything actually about the BBC licence fee.
01:33They didn't axe the tax. Certainly, I think a more radical approach is needed moving forward. But

01:53Well, Nigel said during his speech, he said he'd been told not to turn up because there could have
01:58been, you know, a bit of bother there within, you know, inside the county and all. So he took the
02:04advice and I think he's done the right thing. And like I say, Charlie, I think his time is better
02:08spent saying a massive thank you to the hundreds of people, the thousands of people that's turned up
02:13over the past month to help him secure this historic victory. Understood. Essex police,
02:17BBC understands, say they didn't advise anyone not to attend. Yeah. Well, you know, sometimes some
02:23of these police forces that we've been dealing with recently are about as honest as you lot at the
02:27BBC. Okay, so you're saying that Essex police, that they're not telling it how it is when they
02:35say that there was no advice to your party leader not to attend? I've not spoken to Nigel about this.
02:42I've not spoken to Essex police. If Nigel gets up on stage and says that he's been advised not to
02:47attend the event, then I believe Nigel above the police and especially above you lot at the BBC.
