Passengers have renewed complaints about heat on some new Metro trains during the current heatwave. Nexus says the earlier water ingress issue has been fixed and the climate control system is fully operational.

00:26But the Northeast Public Transport Users Group says passengers are still reporting
00:31uncomfortable journeys in the heat.
00:33It wants Nexus and manufacturer Stadler to act.
00:37The two organisations say they are monitoring conditions
00:40and will decide whether further adjustments are needed going forward.
