00:21Our first story, Finovation supports natural resource conservation in Madhya Pradesh.
00:26Finovation partnered with India's largest multinational flexible packaging corporation
00:31for a community intervention in Malanpur, Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh.
00:35The project focused on natural resource conservation and ecosystem sustainability,
00:40including capacity building for farmers on rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge.
00:46Around 300 beneficiaries also received fruit-bearing saplings
00:50and were encouraged to take responsibility for their maintenance.
00:53Awareness programs involving community members and school children
00:57further promoted natural resource conservation and environmental sustainability.
01:02Moving ahead to our next story, KPTCL transforms unused space
01:07into a Rs. 65 crore theme park in Bengaluru.
01:12Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited has developed the Kuwempu theme park
01:17in Bengaluru's HBR layout under its CSR initiative with an investment of Rs. 4.65 crore.
01:24The project has transformed 1,500 square metres of previously unused space
01:28into a green community zone featuring a 700-metre walking track, open-air theatre,
01:35drinking water facilities, toilets, a gazebo and spaces for local services.
01:39The initiative aims to create an inclusive recreational space for residents
01:43while contributing to a greener and more vibrant Bengaluru.
01:47Our next story, CSR support for 600 TB patients in Dindigul.
01:52In Tamil Nadu's Dindigul district, nutritional supplements supported through CSR funds
01:57are being provided to 600 tuberculosis patients for three months.
02:02The initiative was inaugurated at the Dindigul Government Medical College Hospital
02:06and aims to provide nutritional support to patients during their treatment journey.
02:10The programme highlights how CSR interventions can complement public health care efforts
02:15and support vulnerable communities.
02:18Moving ahead to our next story,
02:19Hyderabad seeks CSR support for lake restoration.
02:23Corporate houses in Hyderabad have been urged to utilise their CSR funds
02:27for the development and rejuvenation of smaller lakes across the city.
02:30Officials highlighted the importance of lakes in flood management,
02:34ecological conservation and meeting Hyderabad's future water requirements.
02:37At the CSR Roundtable 2.0,
02:41HYDRA officials call for greater participation from corporates and citizens
02:45in protecting and restoring the city's water bodies.
02:48The initiative reflects the growing role of CSR in supporting urban environmental sustainability.
02:55And now presenting today's final story,
02:5755,000 Aanganwari centres in West Bengal to receive electricity through CSR.
03:02Around 55,000 Aanganwari centres across West Bengal are set to receive electricity
03:07under a 33 crore initiative funded through the CSR contributions of state power utilities.
03:14The project aims to provide basic electrical infrastructure to ICDS centres across the state,
03:19with implementation being carried out in phases based on priority.
03:23The initiative will improve basic facilities at Aanganwari centres
03:27and strengthen the environment for early childhood care and development.
