The final day of the 2026 Monsoon Session of Parliament is underway, with the deadlock between the government and the opposition continuing over the issue of student protests. The opposition rejected Home Minister Amit Shah’s proposal for a long discussion, leading to heated exchanges, protests, and sloganeering in both Houses. On Thursday morning, the Lok Sabha proceedings began with the singing of Vande Mataram, but amid opposition protests, the House was adjourned sine die. Meanwhile, NDA and opposition MPs held separate demonstrations at Makar Dwar in the Parliament complex, with both sides appearing to confront each other. In the Rajya Sabha, discussion on the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026, continued. Political confrontation and protests remained the key highlights on the final day of the Monsoon Session.

संसद के मानसून सत्र 2026 का आज अंतिम दिन है और सरकार तथा विपक्ष के बीच छात्र प्रदर्शन के मुद्दे पर गतिरोध जारी है। विपक्ष ने गृह मंत्री अमित शाह की ओर से लंबी चर्चा के प्रस्ताव को खारिज कर दिया, जिसके बाद दोनों सदनों में हंगामे और नारेबाजी की स्थिति बनी रही। गुरुवार सुबह लोकसभा की कार्यवाही वंदे मातरम के गायन के साथ शुरू हुई, लेकिन विपक्ष के हंगामे के बीच सदन को अनिश्चितकाल तक स्थगित कर दिया गया। इस दौरान संसद परिसर के मकर द्वार पर एनडीए और विपक्ष के सांसदों ने अलग-अलग प्रदर्शन किया और दोनों पक्ष आमने-सामने नजर आए। वहीं, राज्यसभा में खनिज और खनन (विकास एवं विनियमन) संशोधन विधेयक 2026 पर चर्चा जारी रही। सत्र के अंतिम दिन भी राजनीतिक टकराव और विरोध-प्रदर्शन प्रमुख मुद्दे बने हुए हैं।
