Two accused men attempted to flee the Kulim Magistrate's Court on Wednesday (Aug 12) morning after spotting police officers waiting to recapture them.

One climbed down a pillar from the first floor while the other fled through a rear pathway — before both were caught.

00:16Sina Harian reported that the pair, aged 31 and 27, had appeared in court on charges under sections 3, 2,
00:234 and 3, 5, 3 of the penal code, linked to a case in Serdang.
00:27Both were charged on April 30th and released on bail, pending trial.
00:32However, after their case mention concluded, both accused bolted through the back door.
00:38One climbed down a pillar from the first floor, while the other fled through a rear pathway.
00:43Both men were recaptured.
00:45Police have not said whether additional charges will be filed over the escape attempt.
