00:00PAS Deputy President Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man says any proposal for political cooperation
00:06must first be brought before the party's ulama' council.
00:10He was responding to Pakatan Harapan's openness to working with any party,
00:14including Perikatan Nasional or Bersatu.
00:17For now, Tuan Ibrahim said PAS was focused on strengthening PN ahead of the Melaka state election.
00:24He told FMT that within PN, any decision on political cooperation must also be decided at coalition meetings.
00:33On Bersatu, Tuan Ibrahim said it was up to the party whether it wanted to work with PH.
00:39Yesterday, PH Presidential Council Member Amiruddin Shahri said the coalition had not closed the door to cooperation with PN, Bersatu
00:48or any other party.
00:50However, Amiruddin stressed that any decision would depend on political stability and the people's interests.
00:58He also denied that Selangor PH had agreed to cooperate with Bersatu, saying no talks or decisions had taken place.
