00:00Hi there, it's Lorraine here. Now, I wanted to talk to you about dress sizes because like an
00:06awful lot of people all during this pandemic, I've definitely put on a few pounds. It's not
00:11been able to get to my classes and just comfort eating. So I've definitely gone up from a size
00:1610 to a size 12 and that's okay. I'm not going to beat myself up about it. I still take
00:21little
00:22Ruby and Angus for walks and I'm trying to eat as healthy as I possibly can. But do you know
00:27what?
00:27Sometimes you just need a biscuit. Anyway, I went back to work after being off for a week
00:33and I tried on these trousers from River Island, I think they were from, and I couldn't get into the
00:3910. No way, couldn't get into the 12. And the 14 was pretty snug. So I'm thinking, hang on a
00:46minute,
00:46what's going on with sizes? Because I tried on a dress from Wallace and I got into the 10 absolutely
00:52fine. The 12 was a little bit big. And I just think there has to be some kind of standard
00:57really. And I know it shouldn't matter. I know it shouldn't matter what size you are,
01:02it's just a number. But to be honest, sometimes it does. And it can make you think, I don't
01:07know if I want to be a bigger size, no matter what size you are. So a plea to all
01:14the manufacturers
01:14and all the designers, can we just have standard sizes? And actually, can we have in between
01:20sizes as well? So we can have 8, 9, 10, 11s and 12s. Thank you.
